Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waco South, an IHG Hotel

Reasonable price, my family felt safe, rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Awesome experience. We will stay again if we visit Waco.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice there is a fitness room and the breakfast buffet was very good and well kept. Definitely come back here again great for the family Stephanie at the front desk was so welcoming and if anything needed to let them know

Hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately the people staying above us had a few kids that they didn’t mind running all over the place. Not the hotels fault, but it would of been nice not to hear kids jumping around above us.

My family and I were appreciative of the staff and they’re professional attitudes towards their jobs. John at the front desk was very warm and helpful. He’s a very good young man who took pride in helping people. Very awesome stay!

The staff at the desk (John) was very friendly and helpful and even into the next morning. The room was clean and up to date. Nice there is an actual thermostat on the wall to use. Plus shampoo, lotion, conditioner and hand soap on walls and in shower to use, instead of having tiny bottles, etc. Housekeeping were friendly and helpful, it was also a quiet sleep and room darkening blinds. Some small things I did not like but were not a huge issue were only three bath towels in room (we have a family of 4), left two less than half rolls of toilet paper on holder, no additional rolls were put in our room. Phone charging station was near desk not night stand. Breakfast had a nice variety with a large eating area. Family swam in pool which was warmed. Bathroom in pool area needed some updating and maintenance. We would definitely stay again! Also a good safe area.

Reserved a queen suite with 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa. Had confirmation the room i reserved available and it was reserved in advance. I needed the extra beds for my kids. Upon arrival my room was not available. Kids had to sleep on the floor. Very disappointed.

Hotel had over booked our room. We arrived about 6 pm after cleaning a relatives home who had recently passed away. We were tired and dirty. Ms. Debra was friendly and apologized. We had paid for a a 2 queen with sofa bed room. We received a 2 queen room. 2 family member drove back home since they were just an hour away. We were not refunded or reduced price for the down grade or inconveniences.

They charged 15.00 extra on my card. Don't know why and they never sent an email saying what this was about. I also left something in my room and called them about 1 hour after I left. They gave me a client ID to go to a third party web site to make a claim . I did the required steps but never heard back from the hotel or the website. It was ok . The stay and the room were clean but these things should have been taken care of. Also you have to call them if you are checking in after 11pm. Ive never heard of this and it may be something new that hotels are doing. We arrived after 11 pm so we had to call and let them know. My daughter was the one that saw this in the small print so be careful with that if you and your family plan to arrive after these hours. Overall room for improvement .

We had a graduation dinner at the hotel and decided to get a room at the same facility. Everyone had an amazing time and the hotel was a really nice place to have a family outing.
