La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodway - Waco South

Our check in was very smooth and efficient. The room seemed clean but there were two dead crickets and live baby roaches in the bathroom.

Good property… Enjoyed the pool and hot tub with the grandkids… Breakfast buffet was satisfying… The only problem was Double charged for the room… I had prepaid via Expedia… they wanted a credit card for incidentals which I provided… Before check out in the morning… They had charged me again for the room… When I pointed that out to the front office staff, they were very gracious and immediately credited the credit card account to rectify their error

I was in Waco for a family gathering. I was successful getting an early checkin but after I took my belongings to the room I found that the air conditioner was not working. I went to the front desk and I told them I would be gone until early evening but hoped they could get the air working while I was gone. Upon return that night, the air had not been fixed but found out they do not have maintenance support on Sundays. They did have another room available for me that did have working a/c. The property is a little older and a little worn but it was clean and acceptable.

The hotel was a perfect place to stop with our family on the way to our vacation destination. Indoor pool was nice, room was plenty big and clean, and breakfast was good! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is beautifully remodeled. Very clean. The morning breakfast has a large variety of different foods. The pool and hot tub area were clean.. we originally stayed on the third floor. There was a little issue with the elevator opening and closing, but they fix that right away and put us in a room on the first floor at no charge for the inconvenience. Thank you for the wonderful stay while we visited family. We will definitely be using La Quinta in the future for all our traveling stays.

The property was dated. Price of stay reflected it. Staff was super helpful. Warning!!! If you or someone in your party has mold allergies do not stay here. It is highly suspected based on a family member’s reaction upon spending one night at this location.

This was a good night sleep for my family! I would stay again.

Stayed 1 night with family of 4 in 2nd floor. 1st room A/C did not turn on, and toilet was not working. We were moved to a different room. 2nd room had roach in restroom, hairs on floor in RR. Also, A/C unit sounded like it was about to blow up. Wall painting were all missing only clips were on the wall. Both rooms smelled like mildew. The indoor pool is actually not true as it is open to the outdoor climate. So we booked thinking we would swim, but the 30 deg weather was too cold as the wall is open to outside. Morning breakfast at 10a the waffle mix was out, we requested for more and the lady in front desk said that when they run out they don’t put out anymore. When we explained how unhappy our stay was to her she just said sorry you had a bad stay. No customer service at all. Horrible service, and horrible rooms for the amount we paid.

Even with their renovations going on it was still nice and clean and close to the hospital for family to stay

Under remodel. They put us in a room that was poorly done. Half the room had no electricity. No outlets or lighting worked on that half of the room. The TV outlet was controlled by the entry way light switch. So to watch TV we had to leave the entryway light on. There was open electrical wiring. The floors ice machine was not working. My daughter's room had a mildew smell to it. Positives: the staff was friendly and professional. The beds were comfortable. The hotel must have good thick walls. It was quiet even though full. No noise from outside. Did not hear the traffic on the highway the hotel sits on. The kids enjoyed the pool. Nice hot tub.
