We traveled with 7 children! When we checked in we were told the pool was closed. This was a BIG deal because we made sure to book a hotel with a pool. It was apparent that the pool had not be treated, which should be a DAILY occurrence. The next morning we were told the pool could not be used for 5 hours. This means that the pool was treated that morning, not the evening before! We were only there for one night, so no swimming and 7 very disappointed children. Also, the plates and coffee cups were placed in the cabinets, but had not been washed. They were NASTY! Food had been left in the microwave by the previous guests and not removed by the custodial staff. When I complained about these things (specifically the pool), I was met with an eye roll. It was obvious that the staff did not care about our stay. I was very disappointed in this stay.

Traveled from Houston to Dallas to San Antonio for a family road trip. Stayed at all home 2 suites with a family of 6 and a dog. Fit all of our needs. Great staff. Great breakfast. Fitted all of our needs.

Great hotel for family stay. Have a 3 star bc it took forever to check in as the only desk person was on then phone and the breakfast could really Improve

The staff was so upbeat and kind. Breakfast stayed stocked and fresh. Great options for the whole family. Gas grills in the pool area was convenient. The hotel smelled nice and the AC worked like a dream. Definitely planning on staying here again for our next Galveston trip.

Check in was horrible. Check was 3 pm. I was there at 2:30pm and was told my room was not ready. At 3 pm I checked again and it still was ready. I had somewhere to be by 4 and needed to change clothes. My family and I had to get dressed in the bathroom due to our room not being ready. I was not able to get into my room until after 6pm. Then they gave me a room that was not ready. Beds were not made, trash had not been taken out etc. After another trip to the front desk I was able to get in a clean room.

Wonderful, comfortable, family trip for Christmas weekend. Great location between Houston and Galveston. Plenty of options for food and shopping in the nearby area. Quiet and safe location. The room itself was very roomy and clean. The bed was OK but not great. The bathroom was small for a door to swing inwards. I would suggest the door swing out for additional bathroom space- just a thought. Other than that, it was great. The breakfast was delicious too. Lots of options! The amenities in the kitchenette was very surprising. Large fridge, dishwasher, microwave. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Room easily accommodates 2 adults and 3 kids.

Always clean and comfortable. We stay here every year for our family vacation. Staff is friendly.

I arrived at the property at 2 pm so i could check in early if possible. The hotel front desk told me the room wouldn't be available until closer to check in time. They did let my kids use the pool while we waited so im thankful for that. I called twice as it was getting closer to my check in time and the room was still not ready. The frint desk attendant seemed more preoccupied with who was going to cover his shift than getting my family a room. We did not get booked in to a room until about 4:45 pm. Almost 2 hours after check in. This was a very unpleasant experience for a first time in this facility.

New, clean hotel with a good breakfast bar. Room was very comfortable. We had an accessible room with about a 15-foot ceiling -- weird, but definitely roomy! Plenty of room for a family of 5 with all our luggage. Would probably stay here again on the way down to Galveston for a cruise. Only downside was that it is not along I-45 (it is along Gulf Fwy next to I-45); so, access is a bit strange. Also, construction in front of the hotel made access a bit challenging.
