The place looked nice but room was very small. The beds are not queen size, they are full size. We heared every guest leave their room in the morning because the doors slam so hard. It just cheaply made. The pool water was extremely cold. My kids got a cold and sneezing the next day. Unfortunately, since I had booked from Expedia.com the guy at the front desk was not willing to give me a refund. The corners are dirty and we found not one but about 3 bettles crawling around on the floor. The shower was a glass door and nobody else could use the restroom if someone was taking a shower since the toielt is on the other side of a wall passed the shower. Very inconveniente. Everything is extremely small. Nothing as I expected it. I will never book a stay at this hotel again.

Perfect for our little family. We have a 4 and 1 year old, so the indoor pool was perfect. The pool is only 3 ft deep so my 4 year old could touch and didnt need floaties. Our room didnt have bathtub, only a shower but since it was only a weekend trip we didnt need a tub. My husband didnt think the shower got hot enough but it didnt bothering me. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

I called in advance to request a room where I could oversee the pool to watch my grandkids. I was told it was reserved. Arrived to find we were on other side of hotel with no view. We had to wait two days to switch to a poolside room. Miserable service.

We loved the decor and comfort of the hotel and room. It was clearly newly renovated, but there is already quite a bit of wear and tear. Front desk operator was very friendly and helpful. She encouraged us to go down to the bar and they would help us. But when my family went downstairs to ask about food service, the bartender was unwilling to help. However, there are numerous restaurants in the area and we had a great meal. Just be prepared to go out. Wallpaper damage in the hallways, etc. In our room, the AC unit cooled very nicely, but it was noisy and dripped water all night. In the morning, there was a puddle near my luggage and my clothes were damp inside. Don't leave your stuff near the AC unit!

My favorite hotel in Lubbock! Games for the kids and a bar for adults. Modern comfortable rooms.

Very nice facility, nice bar, lounge and fitness area. Could benefit from a more useful indoor pool- the pool is decent for young children.

Checking in person not very friendly and seemed upset that she had to check us in. Bartender also seemed upset when I asked for a water(did not see was available where snacks are sold). Did tip her and only went by bar to say hi to family that was having drinks there.

Went for a couple of days and loved the idea of having a place to bring my baby dog with me. The bar was great the food was limited but also good. The pool is 3ft but it was fun to take a dip.. loved that there was a shower and bathroom in the same place to rinse before and after using The pool. The billiards table was a hit with my teenage boys. Upon arrival they gave my dog a gift and it was so sweet and thoughtful. There was like a shopping center in the front everything walking distance and that was cool! We will be going back.

Aloft was very nice, a lot of great features! Some of our favorites were the bar area complete with nooks for gathering, games, pool table, comfy seating & a nice patio area. The only drawback here was that the area stayed very loud & crowded. The rooms were very modern, clean & we loved the windows, but they were fairly small for the price. The walls within the room between the bathroom & bedroom were very thin & bathroom lighting lit up the entire room. We wouldn’t have minded if we didn’t have small kiddos. The staff was very accommodating though, we asked for a kids cot & they brought an Aloft Camp air up twin mattresses that my son said was very comfortable! No breakfast, lunch or vouchers were included in our stay & we didn’t order anything, but the restaurant options around us were great as the property is located just behind the Lubbock outlet mall. We were within walking distance of almost all of our favorite stores, coffee & dining options! Big plus for my Nike addicted husband & coffee addicted self lol! We were very disappointed that the indoor pool was under maintenance, it was a big reason we even inquired at this location. We were there for Spring Break during a cold spell with young children that really wanted to swim. The fact that it was out didn’t get us any discounts either, that was kinda off-putting. I’m sure we will be giving Aloft another stay, but we’ll wait until the pool is back up & maybe on a more ‘adult’ weekend.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and the 1st was just like this stay. To much outside noise. Our shower leaked thru the wall into the sink area. Pillows are horrible offer no support. Walls are so thin you can hear everything. Especially the yelling kids (toddlers) outside of our room at 12:30 am. Really sucks especially with a 6am wake up call for a tournament.
