Extended Stay America Suites Houston Katy I10

This hotel used to be owned by a Candlewood owner. At that time it was always excellent. Clean, professional and safe, but ever since it became Extended stay things have changed dramatically. I used to come here multiple times a month. I come to Katy for business very often and was always looking forward to coming here. I even brought my family a few times, but unfortunately will never be returning here again as I have found a hotel that’s even cheaper, cleaner, bigger, comes with a breakfast buffet and that also has a full kitchen in the suites. However, let me explain what has changed. First and foremost I would like to thank the staff for always being amazing and helpful. You guys were the reason why I have endured the stay even after the bad changes, but my last visit has changed everything. This hotel has a huge problem with drug addicts; not only does the hotel smell like drugs, but the individuals that check in also look scary. On my last visit I brought my daughter. When we left our room, we saw the police and coroner. Somebody literally died next to our room. My daughter saw a body bag being carried out. This is something we did not expect. We were not comforted nor offered a comp night. My daughter was a bit traumatized and asked me to leave this place. I am back in Katy as we speak but did not feel safe coming here without my husband. I wish you guys the best and hope that one day things will turn around again.
