Courtyard by Marriott Houston NASA/Clear Lake

Clean, nice, and quiet. Comfy beds. Decent shower. The real gem was this guy who went WAY ABOVE and beyond, we checked in around 11pm and the parking lot was looked full. I said something to the guy and he immediately offered to give up his spot so I could park there. And then later I got ice cream in the lobby for the kids and he ran around trying to find real spoons for them. It’s the little things that make a regular hotel stay better.

nice hotel to visit NASA and sea front. the room is big enough and comfortable. larger pool would make families happy.

Convenient location in a safe and quiet area. Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights, the staff was incredibly friendly and the cafe in the lobby serves Starbucks. The splash pad in the pool area was my kids favorite part. Will stay here again.

My room smelled so badly of mold. We got in so late and my whole family was exhausted. I should have asked for another room. The smell was so bad I slept in a mask all night. No excuse for that awful of a smell.

Reserved a room online for a colleague, using my credit card. I got a confirmation email and it shows on my credit card statement (though in pending, as it always does for a day or so). When my colleague and his family arrived at the hotel, they said they needed to run my CC and then it was denied. It was denied because it was already run for that amount! I got on the phone with the front desk person and got nowhere. They claimed they couldn't cancel my reservation since it was never reserved. I told them I had confirmation it was reserved. She finally said she'd have the manager call me, taking my name and number. And, of course, no one ever called me. My colleague had to end up paying for the room himself and it is still showing on my credit card. So, double payment for the room. I finally just disputed the charge through my cc company. I should not have to do that. I had proof that the room was paid for, but that didn't matter to the front desk person - they forced us to pay for it again.

Family vacation with grandkids, visiting NASA center. Great hotel for comfort and location. Friendly staff and kids loved the cookies. Will return for future Houston visit to the coast.

The hotel was nice and clean and front desk staff was great. The breakfast dining was confusing and one person told us the breakfast was in our nightly rate then when we went to have breakfast the girl at the counter told us it was not and had to pay per person and in our family of 6 was not an option as the price per plate was very high and ended up going to IHOP.
