The room was much smaller than it appeared in the photo. The hallway smelled like cat urine. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no stopper for the tub so kids couldn’t take a bath. When I tried to call the front desk, I discovered there was no cord attached to the phone.

I found roaches in my room. They sent someone to spray some chemicals while I was in the room with my family and I stopped the person. They should do it in my absence. Dissapp

The hotel was very nice & clean. Great location right off I-35 & easy to get around also. Hotel was under renovation so the breakfast area was shut down, they did serve breakfast in the lobby area. I was upset about the pill being closed. This was one of the main reasons I booked here. We had grandkids who would have loved to swim. I do think this should be told some how

Very clean, nice aesthetically. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was pretty good. Nice area close to UNT and near lots of shopping and restaurants and close to UNT, but that also means lots of traffic. Bath towels were very small. Bathroom counter and sink were very tall - no way a young child could use the sink without a stepstool. No bench for backpacks, etc.

Booked 3 rooms for family, 1 room had issues with the heating unit. The entire cover fell off. The front desk was notified the first day and nothing was done. The unit was extremely noisy and had an electrical smell the entire stay. I discussed this with the General Manager Johnathan the day we checked out and he stated he would see what type of compensation he would do. I emailed and left 2 messages for him with no response. I contacted Hotels.com and they were able to talk to Johnathan and he indicated that he would not do any type of compensation. Hotels.com offers many choices, so I will not pick LaQuinta in the future. Absolutely no intergrity on the part of the General Manager.

Bed was too firm for me, but for the value it was ok. It had a breakfast buffet, elevators, a small pool and hot tub. It’s slightly outdated pool wise but for the kids it’s good. We loved the desk staff.. they are funny and helpful. Getting to the hotel right now is a challenge, it’s not their fault because of construction in the area

I have stayed here several times when driving to visit family. Very nice and clean and pet friendly. When you check in with a pet, you sign an agreement not to leave your pet alone in the room, Not the hotel’s fault, but some irresponsible people left their two large dogs alone and they viciously barked when anyone walked down the hall. So infuriating that these kind of people with badly-behaved digs make it harder for the rest of us to travel with pets.

Big dogs barking all night; doors slamming when anyone goes in or out of their rooms, little kids running up and down the hall until 11 pm; and all of that noise came in the room so loudly we could not drown it out. Won't stay at LaQuinta again.

I was visiting family so most of my time was at my family's home. The room was tidy. I'm not sure if it was the cleaning agents used, but the odor was a little strong when I entered the room. As I got used to it it was tolerable. The humidity, however, was noticeable, even though the outside atmosphere and temperature was nice for TX. I ate breakfast at the hotel one morning, and took an orange to go on another morning.
