Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center

The location is unbeatable. Situated right in the heart of Denton, we were minutes away from downtown Denton. This was fantastic, especially for a weekend getaway where we wanted to maximize hanging out. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, for a relatively new hotel, we were surprised by a few shortcomings. The common areas, particularly the carpets, chairs and furniture in the common areas, seemed a little neglected and could have used a deeper clean. There was food left on one of the hallway tables near the elevators for over a day. In our room, nearly all of the electrical outlets were loose, making it a challenge to charge our devices and also posing a safety risk. Additionally, the iron was broken, and housekeeping simply left it propped against the ironing board. The gym also left much to be desired. While these are minor issues individually, they collectively detracted from the experience, especially considering this is a newer establishment. Another point to consider is that the hotel seems to be a popular choice for families. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic escape, this might not be the best fit. There were quite a few children during our stay, and the noise level could be high at times, particularly in the reception area. Overall, the hotel boasts a fantastic location but falls short on cleanliness and a few in-room issues. If these aren't dealbreakers for you and you enjoy a lively atmosphere, this hotel could be a good option.

My family and myself had a great time here! The daily breakfast was delicious, the pool and workout room were clean and open, and the staff were very friendly. Great stay!

My family loved it. It was unique in that you had to use your guest card to use the doors and elevator to go up. However it felt more secure in that way .

Love the property! The pool is always refreshingly cold. Enjoy the complimentary evening reception and fresh omelets in the morning. Dinner at Houlihan’s is always yummy and the service is great. Easy location for families with students at UNT. 💚💚

There was not enough face towels and one had a red spot on the edge of one white towel. The facility and staff was great. Speaking with family members that attended all agreed we would return ,myself included.

Great newer Embassy Suites. Room was nice, clean, everything seemed new. The complicated lighting set up was a little weird and about half the outlets didn't work or didn't work easily, but those are obviously minor complaints. Breakfast was slightly chaotic but good! Lots of options including the family favorite made to order omelets, plus Texas shaped waffles, bacon, sausage, cereal and all the standard fare. Definitely a great option!

My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and the surrounding area... Even though we came for family pleasure, I could have just relaxed in the hotel.

Staff is friendly. Breakfast is great! Cocktail hour is awesome. The pool area is phenomenal. Loved our stay. Was our second time at this property. Very family friendly!

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very courteous, and there were several nice perks to the stay. This included a happy hour from 5:30 - 7:30 with beer and wine, and a very nice breakfast including made-to-order omelets. The pool area was very nice, including a splash pad for kids (and some adults). There was also a very nice outdoor area for cornhole and games. Our only "issue" was we were hoping to really cool the room down as we were in town to attend an outdoor and hours long wedding. We found that there may have been a "governor" on the thermostat and it did not quite cool down to our liking. However, it was cool and we were comfortable. Also, from family that live in this area, this hotel was recommended over others for it's safety record and amenities. It was worth it.

Nice hotel with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 younger kids.
