Hyatt Place Austin Cedar Park

The breakfast buffet had so many options and was very convenient for us, as we were relying on family members to drive us on this trip. The buffet had a lot of variety of hot dishes, with a channging menu each day. Recommend, especially for families. The hotel has an outside venue across the street which ended its concerts early enough to not interfere with sleeping. The staff here was so friendly and efficient. The location is great, adjacent to 1980 Ranch off 183A and New Hope Dr. I will stay here again and recommend it to others.

Cool to stay if you’re in the are, especially with family/kids. Apparently it’s dog friendly as well. Breakfast was a good selection and a good incentive to this stay. Our room had a little smell to it but I always come prepared. The young lady at check in was not very friendly but hope she has a better day.

It would have been a great visit and received 5 stars…. Had the fire alarm not falsely gone off just before 5am. It woke my almost 2 year old who refused to go back to sleep. As we don’t travel much, she wasn’t used to being in a hotel and trying to get her to sleep was a fight! Just fell asleep at 130am, to be woken up 3.5 hours later by the blaring alarm. I wrap my daughter in her blanket and grab my shoes as my wife steps into the hallway to be told it’s a false alarm. Tried entertaining my toddler in the room for the 1.5 hours before they opened breakfast. At breakfast we overheard another guest say this was the third night in a row the alarm had gone off. We only stayed one night, so I can’t speak on that. But it made for a reeeeealllllly long morning with a cranky toddler

We really enjoy staying here at HP in Cedar Park because it’s 5 minutes from our family. Super convenient!

Great place for family get together. Breakfasts were best we’ve had in a non-restaurant.

We were in town to be with nearby family for Christmas. Our stay at Hyatt Place felt like our home away from home. Very clean, good breakfast, attractive lobby, and very nice staff. We will definitely return next year!

We went ot Austin for a wedding. This hotel was near family and friends. Very clean and nice location. Great staff! We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast too. We will certainly choose this hotel on our next trip back to the area

We prepaid for 2 nights. When we arrived we were given a different room 2 queens instead of 1 king. I asked the desk for a king room and they said none were available. Then when we went to our room after dinner we discovered ROACHES. We killed them, called the desk for a different room and we were told they were booked and had no other rooms. I asked if we checked out would we get a refund? I was told NO because we booked with Expedia.SO WE SLEPT WITH THE LIGHTS ON AND EVERYTHING IN OUR LUGGAGE. The next morning we received a call that we had a family member passing away and packed up to fly home immediately. While checking out I asked since we were checking out early would we get a refund for the prepaid night we would not be staying. I was again told NO you booked with Expedia and we can’t help you. Call Expedia. This was a terrible experience. I’m sorry that I have such a bad review but it is a completely honest review.

The A/C was not working properly in the room. One of the elevators was out of service. We specifically chose this hotel because of the food but there was no breakfast available on the first day and no dinner available on the last day. Front desk staff was not friendly and avoided acknowledging guests. We chose this hotel months in advance for visiting family and was looking forward to using the lobby for a nice place to gather and have a drink and a sandwich. That was not an option. No offer of a gift card or such at a nearby restaurant was offered. Just avoidance and no apology. Would not recommend or visit again. Lots of other options in the area!!!!

I was disappointed by this hotel experience. When we arrived, we were not asked if we wanted to have housekeeping and they did not clean our room the next day (for a family of four). Also, the drinks and snacks were not restocked so we had to leave the hotel to get snacks. The pool towels were also not restocked, so we had to use our room towels. The staff were often away from the front desk and were not there to answer questions. Finally, this is my personal preference, but I thought the 9am end for breakfast was too early. Overall, I was disappointed by our experience at this hotel.
