I love Holiday Inn, friendly workers, super clean.Outstanding service but this time i got a room that it was across from a night club OMG my family and I couldn’t sleep for nothing making our stayed not so great. I wish that the front desk person could’ve warned us about this issue.

This was a great hotel location. Great for our young family trip. Hotel was clean, pool was great and big enough to enjoy even over a holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly to our kids. Be aware you will have to pay an extra parking fee per night that hotels.com does not mention. Besides that this was a great place to stay that’s close to most things in Austin.

I loved how clean it was and very accessible! My kids loved to be at the pool, it wasn’t very kid friendly at the pool tho because of all the drinking and stuff but other than that they had a great time

Pretty terrible experience. Arrived at 11pm with wife and two young kids only to find out they had booked my room to someone else without even letting me know ahead of time. Had to haul luggage back to the car to a different hotel they sent me to, where parking rate was higher and no breakfast was included so had to actually spend more money. But worse than that, they failed to communicate to me that they were only sending me there for 1 night, and expected me to come back for second night, to another hotel (not even my original hotel). Once again, we found this out at the end of a long day at 11pm with both my kids tired, whining. Had to pay an extra night on the other more expensive hotel I was in, because there was no way I was moving my entire family at midnight, AGAIN! And the hotel refused to pay for my second night even though this all started through fault of their own, by giving our previously booked room to someone else! And they expected us to apparently interrupt our whole day on the little time we had in Austin to go back to check out of the other hotel and check into the original booked hotel, which at the end, apparently was full again! And the fact that they never even communicated any of this is so unacceptable!

The bathtub had a huge rip. I did not see the bathtub until late in the evening and didn’t want to move the kids and all my stuff that late. Shower water was lukewarm at best. Overall room was mediocre. That room should never have been used! I prepaid for parking with my reservation and still had issues with getting out of the parking garage. Front desk was not very helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Will not stay here again!!

The room was noisy, the kid was very much disturbed by the music from the bar nearby, could not sleep, we switched to another room, this room is away from the bar music, but the AC made very loud noise, we asked to turn off the AC, the technician came, operated on the AC, but the noise was still there, we asked why, he said the system would run for sometime, then would be off. The funny thing is the AC was never off and made noise for the whole night. Besides this noise issue, when we were in the elevator, the elevator stopped working, had to call different people to call the front desk for help, finally got out the lift safe, but scared, will not go back again.

The property was very clean and smelled great inside. The room had a lot pf comfortable furniture that made it easy for my family to relax. The only disappointed was the water pressure in the beautiful shower was too low.

The hotel itself was great the service was great, however although the room was clean i encountered baby cockroaches on my night stand i didn't see them until the second night. I called the front desk and maintenance was not available. I have included a picture of a dead one i found behind the alarm clock, i wasn't able to to get a picture of the live ones

Great hotel! We loved the breakfast (perfect for families) and the outdoor pool! The only thing that needs to be improved is the sound coming from the bar across the street. The music was way too loud from 10p-2a. This happened all three nights we stayed. It is especially bad for rooms that face north and east.

During check in we were assigned a room that had not been cleaned and was still a mess with no bedding or towels. My wife carried some of our infants things up to that room and came back to tell me it was dirty. I went up to a woman at the front desk who was not helping anyone despite a big line with the guy that had checked me in and I told her what happened. She was angry and annoyed to talk to me, demanded my id and took the room cards away and acted like I was massively inconveniencing her. She assigned us a new room but then my wife said our baby's items were still in the room. The front desk woman called for someone with housekeeping to let us into the first dirty room but when we went up there, no one was there. I asked several of the house keeping staff for help, but none spoke English (not faulting them for that, but an added complication), and directed me back downstairs. With my limited spanish language ability, I convinced one of the housekeeping staff to open the door, she was very helpful once she understood my daughter's things were in the room. Almost no water pressure in the shower and the pool was broken and drained. High levels of homeless people on the street in the area because it is near a shelter. The breakfast was actually pretty good though.
