Comfort Inn Abilene

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Safe area. Nice staff. Plenty of hot water. Reasonable fees for pets. We have stayed multiple times to visit family.

The Property was a nice facility, the breakfast lady is a true jewel however, if you are traveling with ESA Certified Animals this is NOT the place for you, they will charge you $25.00 per animal. I explained my circumstances (I lost a child… not something I recommend and something that truly leaves you with ESA needs) and unfortunately they did not care. I have never had to pay for my animals at any other hotel and so I will not be staying at a Comfort Inn in the future. If you aren’t traveling with ESA Certified Dogs then you would probably enjoy the stay.

First, every single employee I encountered was friendly and professional, especially the young woman who checked me in and the housekeeping staff on the 4th floor today, 8/16/22. I like that they say outright that linens will only be changed on the third day for a guest. It's such a waste to wash sheets that have been used one day. Very environmentally friendly. Recycling options would be nice as well as 1 additional trashbag. I have a super sensitive nose and the room seemed a bit musty. It's probably time to steam the carpet and curtains. Additionally, neither the deadbolt or the other lock worked. The door was out of alignment. This is really picky, but the remote was a little grungy. The facilities, however, were very clean and adequately stocked. Finally, I didn't love the breakfast. The sausage was super salty. The bagels were stale. There wasn't fresh fruit. However the yogurt and potatoes were very tasty. The coffee was very good. I didn't ever try a waffle because there were kiddos dominating the waffle machine, but they were thrilled by the Texas shape. It was a big hit! Overall the visit was pleasant and hassle free. Several restaurants are in walking distance as is the hospital. I would definitely stay there again. I felt very comfortable.
