Big Country Hotel & Suites

wonderful customer service at all times of the day and night. beautiful lobby and furniture. rooms were clean and comfortable. breakfast is an option it was something they were working on all that during our stay. defiantly a place to stay for a family. I didn't get to see if a pool is available.

My husband and I stayed at Big Country Hotel & Suites in Abilene for a week while visiting our grandchildren! The front desk staff (Debbie and Kelly) were very friendly, kind and made us feel sooo welcome! After checking into our room there was a problem and as soon as we called Debbie she immediately put us in another room....we were thrilled and extremely grateful that she upgraded our room!! I inquired with Kelly if there were more hangers and the next day she brought me a bag full of hangers from her house! The housekeeping staff ladies were gracious and accommodating. The location was very accessible to stores and restaurants. The property is close to the road, however the noise was hardly noticeable. The renovations are very tasteful and nearly complete. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room décor and furnishings are lovely. It will be wonderful to have the breakfast area up and running. We look forward to our next stay here!

Great experience. It’s not a flashy space, but if you need a clean safe space to stay the night with your family for a great price, I definitely recommend.

Very updated property! It has beautiful furniture in the lobby and the furniture in the rooms is updated as well. It was clean, safe, and I received great customer service. The price for it was also very reasonable. My family and I will definitely be staying there when we visit Abilene. Some suggestions are a set or more of washers and dryers to get more laundry done.

Both the night and morning front desk workers were very helpful. Check-in was quick and informative were as check-out was helpful. It was 4 degrees in the morning so he warmed the toddlers blanket in the dryer and put on a pot of hot water for us to take for formula.

Every single member of the staff was absolutely stellar. Wonderful place to stay, they treat you like family.

Loved our room. Went to Abilene to visit family. Didnt want to leave our room. It was beautiful, spacious and comfy.

It def worked for a nights sleep While they’re at the west Texas fair. With renovations, there is stuff everywhere to include the kitchen so don’t plan on breakfast there. The sign at the front lobby desk is a little off putting stating no one within 50 miles can book a hotel room. Seems odd like there are parties, or drugs, or other activities you don’t want your kids around. Otherwise the parking lot, hallways and room was clean. AC worked but room did feel extra humid. (Might just be me). Easy to get to and find. Price on point for the room received

My family and I had a good experience at your hotel. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. My only complaint is the lack of towels, garbage bags, coffee maker, and toiletries. Perhaps providing additional towels and a coffee maker, garbage bags, and would have been great. Otherwise, we were content and will stay again at the hotel.

The staff was amazingly! The property was a disappointment. I have family who stayed here before and everything was great. The hotel is under renovations...so walking in is a mess and the pool was being redone also. There is a sign at the check in booth that does say you can cancel and there is no breakfast, but at this point, is it really an option...maybe that should be mentioned when the reservation is made?!
