Quality Inn West

I liked the room. It was spacious and liked how you can enter the room from both inside the hotel and from the outside. It made walking our dog convenient. It also made it easy to move our luggage since we were able to park in front of our door. I was not overly impressed with the breakfast. There was nothing cooked. I also did not appreciate having to pay an extra $25 pet fee on top of what we had already paid to book the room. They are pet-friendly, but at an additional cost. It’s buried at the bottom of their website and I never saw it. Other than that, it was an average budget hotel. It was obvious that it was a family run hotel but it served the purpose. We got a good nights rest with no disruptions.

We stay here often due to family living close by. It is fine, needs some updating. We were in room 105 and there is mold in the bathroom above the shower. My daughter was in 230, which is the room we were in on our last stay, and the air still wasn’t working correctly. The pool is freezing! Staff was awesome and friendly.

Check in was easy and straightforward. The reception was pleasant and the front desk host was kind enough to leave the pool open a little longer for my little ones to burn energy after a long drive. The pool had a light detached that made me nervous with the wires. No harm was done but it should be fixed. The room was ok. Old and tacky coloring. It may have contributed to how dirty it felt, but the carpets didnt seem very clean and the soap scum on parts of the bathroom were gross. The bed was fairly comfortable and seemed ti be the cleanest part of the room. Breakfast had a decent variety and was typical for this type of hotel. We could never get our kids' tablets to connect to the internet, but our phones did. The location of the hotel was convenient. For the price, I would consider staying again, but would consider looking elsewhere.
