The Inn On The River

Cookies and kid gift bag at arrival with popcorn nightly. Front desk staff was lacking in friendliness and was someone different every time went downstairs the 5 days we were there. Very cozy and relaxing hotel. Pool was hot and smelled horribly of chlorine.

The Inn on the River. We made this reservation well in advance. We absolutely loved our experience at The Inn. When we checked in the staff was amazing. They provided a nice gift to our daughter and the hospitality was fantastic. We liked the proximity to other venues in Pigeon Forge (be patient with traffic). They have two pools at the location (one inside and one outside). We enjoyed the indoor pool the first night (did not go back after as our child did not have googles and the chlorine was definitely noticeable when you walked by). They had a very nice hot breakfast that featured many items to chose from. Loved their outdoor seating and nice view of Pigeon Forge and the Mountains. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only item we were a little upset about (but, out of our control and not at fault of the hotel) was the take over from the baseball teams (their was a big tournament in town). They completely took over the entire hotel. I understand they need rooms but would have been nice for the hotel to notify or give a heads up to the other families that were there that “just FYI, a large group is coming in this weekend”. Overall, the staff was fantastic. We would definitely consider staying again (but looking to see what big baseball events are in town). Highly recommended staying at this hotel.

This motel exceeded our expectations. Everything was great. Everything was so neat and clean. The breakfast bar was awesome. We never had to wait for food and it was delicious. Even the popcorn and chocolate chip cookies were good. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS MOTEL AGAIN. I have already referred this motel to our daughters and their family. I can't forget how friendly and courteous the staff was.

I’ve stayed at lots of places over the years with work and family. All different styles and business ideas. This place just kinda hit all the points for us. Easy access to amenities, great breakfast bar, beautiful room, good pool, good parking, comfortable clean room, plus we were right on the river. Then add in that the price was well within the budget just assured them a repeat customer for sure.

The property is excellent. It’s well located, very clean and it offers little gadgets like cookies and popcorn that the kids love. I gave it a four because the welcoming person was very serious and not very welcoming. We also had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready and the some of the breakfast was a little over cooked. Besides those few things, we would stay there again.

You have to book and experience the cabin/ home feeling the Inn on the River provides. You will be satisfied for every dollar spent. Perfect in every way for family or just a private get-a -way. Very peaceful place.

This was a mother/daughter trip to visit family for Thanksgiving and to enjoy Pigeon Forge before returning home to SC. It is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed with. It's beautiful and very clean. I would have loved to stay on the river side but you can still enjoy breakfast overlooking it. The fireplace in the lobby was very welcoming. The only thing that was unusable was the indoor hot tub. It was closed while we were there for some reason but would have loved to enjoy it. Regardless, I do hope to visit again and will stay here if I do.

This was a lovely place to stay and great for my family. It’s convenient to walk to most things, comfortable to stay at, and the breakfast was great. I will definitely try to stay here again.
