Hampton Inn Chattanooga - North/Ooltewah

The living conditions were substandard. The bathroom had visual mold sediments. My family and I had an allergic reaction to it. I thought that the concentration of mold was high in the area however according to the weather reports it was not. On a better the check-in and out was seamless. I enjoyed that part.

The property was nice. I had an issue with the pool not being useable because the heater was broken. I booked the room just for my kids to play. We didn’t even end up staying the night because my kids were bored and had nothing to do. The hotel didn’t offer to accommodate me for the inconvenience and Expedia wouldn’t help get me a refund even after calling not long after my arrival.

Beautiful spacious room, with large minibar area. Very clean and quiet for our infant son. Comfortable bed.

Nice hotel. Clean. I don’t complain or leave reviews much. But I was not happy that I paid for a King suite that said it slept 5 people for 1 night. My husband and I have a 7 year old and 6 month old. When I came to check in the older woman basically told me it wasn’t cleaned yet and that she had to change my room. Then she questioned me about my sleeping arrangements for my children (like it was any of her business) and I said the suite said it had a couch she could sleep on. She said no. (The pictures show a couch) and told me she was going to give me a room with two queen beds. And didn’t let me get another king room. But I’m still charged for a king room. If I paid for my room it should be cleaned when I get here at check in and not basically telling me I can not go sleep with my 6 month old. So now I’m stuck in a queen bed with my baby and husband while my daughter gets a whole bed to herself. Not happy.

Clean and my kids loved the indoor pool

Very nice hotel for our three night stay with two young children. Room was well kept and clean. Breakfast options were very plentiful. Only downside was the traffic noise at night (lots of sirens all night on Friday, but that’s not the hotels fault!), and the pool could use some cleaning/repairs to some surfaces (we still swam in it though). Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Little bit of a bummer because the hot tub was broken and we told the kids they had one for our stay. The rooms were not as clean as we would expect, the floors were dirty.
