Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville at Vanderbilt

Found a baby cockroach on my room. Other then that great hotel

My family and I stayed here for spring break. The room is nice sized and the breakfast and happy hour were great! The location was perfect, and the shuttle down broadway was a nice feature. The staff was pleasant and helpful. BUT the rooms are in desperate need of updates. Our room was so dark and drab. The couch was so worn out that we couldn't sit on it without getting stuck. It was also quite dirty. The room/bathroom desperately needs a ventilation fan so that the room wouldn't be so humid. It literally smelled like a sour wet sock! I also didn't realize it was a "pet friendly" hotel, so that affected our allergies. It could also use a pool.... But overall, the good outweighed the bad.

The walls are pretty thin and we could hear the family next door in the bedroom and the bathroom. They were very loud. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean, and set up nicely. They had a happy hour in the lobby at night that was very nice. They also had a very good breakfast in the morning with lots of options, including an omelet bar where they would make several different versions of omelets, or to your preference. My family was in town for a wedding and used their shuttle service to and from the ceremony/reception, and also down to Broadway. Would highly recommend.

From the time we walked in the door to the time we checked out, excellent service. A special BRAVO to the gentleman handling happy hour. We just checked in when it was about to end, he noticed we were tired. Took our order and had t ready after we dropped our bags off in the room. Me, my husband and 5 children. Appreciated that gesture.

Good location, clean, family friendly.

Enjoyed the transportation to and from broadway bars , the breakfast was amazing so much to choose from . It was nice to have a hot tub and sauna available, be better if there were a pool in the building for kids . Overall I can’t complain because it was the best hotel I have stayed at in a very long time . We enjoyed our weekend getaway

We have stayed in Embassy Suites in several cities and regard it very highly, however this hotel did not live upto its reputation. First of all as we arrived the hotel there was no one to help with the lagauge. There is valet parking available but they just get your key and goodbye. We booked a room which said it accomodated 4 adults and 1 child, there was a king bed but the sofabed was smaller than double bed, making it good for only 1 adult. The manager refused to give us roll away beds saying it was fire hazard, so how did these people say room for 4 adults?? Thankfully we carried a sleeping bag, but it was very disappointing. The room service did not arrive at our room until 4pm, they came only after I called the front desk. They only made the bed and folded the towels, left the sink, shower, floor, outside carpet all dirty.By this time I was tired of complaining. The breakfast in the morning is understaffed. Only one poor lady taking orders and cooking omletes and waffels for a long line, making her very cranky. The snacks in the evening are out within 30 min and no one refills them for another 30 minutes. Overall a very frustrating experience.
