My kids loved the pool and plenty of room

Had to check in different family members at different times and the concierge made that happen smoothly. Very friendly and gave exact directions to my mother how to find the shuttle bus at the airport for transport. Had multiple rooms and one room the AC went out, so Adam quickly got us into a cool room quickly. Breakfast is standard, but tasty. Check out simple and convenient. Good price and quality hotel. Would recommend.

We had a family reunion at Nashville, all together 11 people stayed at Hampton and had a grand time there.

I was a bit worried about booking this Expedia deal that couldn't be beat for the area ($80 for two double beds on July 4th weekend), as it was pre-paid and non-refundable. Then my parents and aunt booked two more rooms, so I was even more worried! But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I think of Hampton Inn as a just-enough frills, practical traveler kind of hotel. No, the breakfast wasn't cooked by Julia Child, but it was plenty fine to start one's day, with a good mix of indulgent and healthy. The fruit salad was fresh and tasty, and the food was constantly refilled and monitored by any number of lovely and helpful people. There was hot coffee, tea, or chocolate to be had at any time of the day, plus more fresh fruit, and cookies in the afternoon! That and a clean, quiet room (ok, and a hot shower and tolerance of my kids' unending love of hot cocoa) are all I need for hotel happiness, and they came through in these aspects and more. We have stayed in many Hampton Inns and I am consistently impressed with how kid-friendly they are. Contrast this to the Sheraton downtown, where we had a very good breakfast one morning but the service was cold and snobby - I'll take a Hampton Inn over that kind of "luxury" any day.
