It is a beautiful place with an amazing vibe and nicely located; however it’s being staffed and run (at front desk by 20 yr olds). They give you luggage tags but then offer you other peoples bags or can not find yours this happened to us and two families we traveled with. Also one late night we ordered pizza and they just left it at front desk with no one attempting to call us or bring it up to our room. I expected this heightened hotel to have more of a white glove service. Food next door and staff were amazing and all bar staff at bar was great!

We came to Holston House as a stop on a way back from a long road trip vacation with 2 kids! I was certain we would feel out of place, but the front desk gave the kids colors and coloring books which was a sweet touch. It was super close to Broadway and we were able to walk to the nearby Assembly Hall for dinner and then the next morning to Sun Diner for breakfast with no problems. The hotel was very clean and super nice! We enjoyed it and will have to come back next time without the kiddos!

Honestly, I’m sad to say that this hotel was a bust. The location is the only good part, if you’re seeing a concert nearby and need a place to crash in walking distance. The rooms are tiny, beds are uncomfortable, the pool is basically a kiddie pool (tiny and shallow), and it’s very noisy till about 1-3am.
