It was a nice place to stay for families. Everything was within distance of where we wanted go. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We were assigned a room on a floor that apparently had water issues. There were 2 huge fans blowing in the hallway one room away. Our room smelled musty and our son started sneezing and severe running nose. First, we thought he had caught a cold but when we leave the hotel, those symptoms did not occur as severely. We asked to change our room. The staff was very accommodating. Once we moved into the another room, he got better. My suggestion is when there is an issue with flooding/water is to let the customers know in advance before just assigning a room near the problem; therefore, avoiding an unpleasant experience. Other than that, the second room was clean. Location was good for us as a family as it is in easy walking distance to most sites but not so close to Broadway.

Close to anything downtown, convenience was main reason I chose this place. The room was fine. You can't self park onsite, so valet is $40 extra/day. Check in was easy and staff was nice. Needed towels changed after a day and it took over a day and two request to get more towells, asked for receipt to be emailed, never got it. The 3rd floor where the pool is located smelled like it had water damage and stunk like wet clothes/carpet everytime we went to pool. The pool had green stuff growing on the walls and water wasn't cleaned regularly. The pool was the other main reason I chose this hotel, and it was gross...Disappointed in that. If you are just staying one night, don't have kids and not using the pool, it's fine. Otherwise, pay the extra and go somewhere a bit cleaner/nicer.

Room was clean and quiet. Bed was too firm for me but others might like it. Service was great. I got a price break because I stayed on a Sunday night. Valet parking is $40 (!) per day but it's expensive to park anywhere in downtown Nashville. Watch out for the kids and tipsy people on scooters - they're everywhere!
