Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge

Love the pool and the hot tub, which were crystal clear, in spite of the dozens and dozens of children in the pool the night before, who I think were there for some sort of baseball camp. Early the next morning, as soon as the pool was opened, a worker came in and straightened everything, checked the pool chemicals and kept things stocked and tidy. Impressive considering how much use the pool and hot tub were getting. Excellent job.

I had a weekend stay for my child's cheer competition. It was quiet, clean and the staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was clean and the jacuzzi tub was the best I've been in, in a long while. My family and I would definitely stay again.

Everything was quiet, clean, and comfortable. A perfect place to stay after a long daynon the road. My family had already booked it two more times for our next road trip

Staff was friendly, loved the full service breakfast especially spinach quiche crustless (great for people that eat low carb but taste great for anyone), loved the choice of soft or firmer queen beds in the room, cleanliness and housekeepers very sweet and helpful. Grandkids loved the pool and hot tub.. Overall great place to stay!

Marriott in ERidge has been a hotel that my family and I have stayed at over the years but never again. We didn’t complain to the front desk. We went through a third party (hotel.com) and paid in advance. Below are a few things that determined our decision: 1. Marriott is known for being pet friendly place but need a restricted area or door to bring pets in and out. Walking them (ex. A Big White/Beige Dog) through/around the dining area should not be tolerated at anytime of the day; even if on a leash. 2. No Designated rooms????? for pets (we were in room 207.) and could hear them clearly around us. 3. Treat rooms, beds, floors, couch and pillows with a solution to deal with dander, fleas, dust and dirt mites. I had a allergic reaction during our stay and took pictures of my lower extremities after waking up that morning. I quickly headed into the bathroom to shower, afterwards we went to the Rx for allergy medicine. You all may say that everything listed above is in place BUT the rules and cleaning process is NOT being enforced. I understood due to COVID a lot of Marriotts were not cleaning rooms daily; but I expect thorough cleaning and disinfecting when ALL guest checkout. Our room appeared to be clean but was not including an odor.
