Sonesta Simply Suites Nashville Brentwood

Word of advice, STAY AWAY. This hotel is not family friendly or functional. I will be leaving a more in depth review on google, but be warned. Staff are nice, but the cleanliness of this place is horrible. Mold on fans and base boards, food still all over the floors, smells of must and gross, chipped and broken furniture, damaged walls, extremely dated furniture, used toiler paper in your toiler on arrival, broken extrerior doors that allow absolutely anybody into the building, and just overall seedy hotel vibes. I truly believe the only reason this place fills up is because it is luckily in a decent area. I understand the staff have nothing to do with poor ownership, but they do have a responsibility in at least cleaning what they can. If this hotel were further from the interstate it would definitely not survive. I used to travel providing maintenance for towers. I have been in my share of bad hotels, this one actually takes #1.

Most of the things in our room were broken, the sink didn’t drain and the floors were filthy. We wouldnt even let our toddler walk around the room barefoot because his feet were black. They never came and took out the trash our entire three day stay. The room felt damp overall and our key cards never worked - everytime we would come back we would have to get new ones.

I would definitely stay here again. I feel that is one of the best compliments. I enjoyed my stay, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. I would even bring my family back as well. Thank you!

There were things in my room that was unacceptable...I will not name them, however the staff was very nice and made things better for me and my family. They were extremely professional and did not ask questions they immediately took action to make our stay better. Kudos to a wonderful front desk staff.

This place was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My room was on the 2nd floor of 3 floors. I could here every step, bang, you name it from the floor above me. It was almost like living in an apartment. Kimeon was at the front desk and he was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. I was able to switch to a different room on the same floor because there wasn’t any rooms available on the 3rd floor. The noise level was better however this room had several issues. Something was wrong with the door handle so it took several card swipes before it would open. The carpet in the room felt wet which explains why it smelled like dirty carpet. The next morning I found several newborn roaches in the bathroom. Later on that day when I tried to use the microwave, it didn’t work. I reported it to the front desk on my way out for work and by the time I got back it still hadn’t been taken care of. I went back to the desk asking about the microwave and the lady at the desk said she was on it. Eventually she brought me a microwave. Later on that evening after I returned from Pilates class, I realized that the hot water was not working. I attempted to call the front desk but the phone in the room didn’t work. I walked back down to the desk and was told that the hot water tank was out in the entire hotel and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. I took a cold shower that night and the next morning I checked out two days earlier than what I planned.

Omg it was excellent. I would recommend to my family and friends coming in from out of town.

We were in the Nashville area on family business and this is our first stay here. Room was clean and quiet. Nice to have a recliner to sit on instead of having to sit on the bed all the time. Bathroom was clean, but would like some thicker towels. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Location was in a business park type setting, so there was no traffic noise.
