Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brentwood North-Nashville Area, an IHG Hotel

We have stayed here several times while visiting with family. It's beautiful quiet quiet everything you expect from Holiday Inn express.

My son and I were on a 16 hour drive trip homeward bound after seeing family, and this was the halfway point home. We needed a good resting place before the rest of our trip home, and this was the perfect place to stop. The beds were so comfortable, it made it hard to get up the next day to head on home. Nice, clean, comfortable place to stay.

The staff were all friendly. The grounds were well groomed and the location is a good area. I rented for a night for my family based on location, beds, guest ratings, and price range. It’s an older property and is somewhat of a lipstick on a pig situation. There were no deal breakers here. The ac worked, the room was clean minus the hair in the bathroom, and I found no signs of bed bugs. The tv worked but it didn’t appear to have more functions than an active/live station guide. If it did then it wasn’t working. The carpet had stains. Our view was another wall. Everything was crooked, I don’t know how this happened but nothing was installed level nor straight. We were “upgraded” to a king suite on checkin, not on my request. The folder out sofa bed looked older than me but the kids had no complaints about it. The shower water pressure wasn’t great and for other cold shower people the water was never truly cold but this may be due to the water supply versus the hotels design. The room was quiet. My kids enjoyed the included breakfast. I had some biscuits and gravy and was happy with it. I didn’t love the hotel nor did I hate it. It just was off. I’d stay there again but only after exhausting comparable hotels in the area. There’s a plaza next to the hotel that has a target and cold stone so if you need supplies they’re right near by. A Waffle House is across from the hotel in case you need a 2am breakfast.

We stay at this hotel on every trip to Nashville! It’s always an easy check in, clean, good price and great breakfast! Plus the staff is always friendly! My kids always use the downstairs lobby to hang out and play games.

I couldn’t say enough great things about this hotel. From the check in to the breakfast to the staff and the cleanliness of the room. I had a toddler with me and in my 3rd trimester of my pregnancy. They went ablove and beyond for us to be able to check in early. Breakfast selection was excellent, limited seating but bonus points for actually having a high chair. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. This hotel is walking distance to Target and Panera and other great restaurants. Will recommend this hotel!

I was not too happy with my stay however the front desk staff was friendly. The water was lukewarm in the shower and we were woke up early because the cleaning staff were across the hall talking very loud with each other and then a loud family with kids came in and were very loud not a pleasant stay.

They di not have my baby crib in room for me. Had to wait for them to call manager for permission to give ne the crib. I had to leave early for my baby to gave heart cath at vanderbilt so i asjed at check in if it was possible to get a piece of fruit for morning since i had to leave before breakfast and they just said "i dont know"

Overall the stay was okay. When we arrived, our keys would not work for our room. We received another set and then a third, and none worked. It was around 9:00 PM when we arrived to check in and now getting later and later. One guy behind the desk said he would then call maintenance about the door but then never said how long it would be or give us other options. He just walked away in his phone as he could see we had a crying/tired toddler and an infant with us. I then asked another gentleman behind the desk ( after he finally got off his phone to look up) if there was another room we could be moved to while they figure out the door and he just responded with “We are all booked.” Thanks to the one other lady working over hearing my situation was about to help us 5 minutes later and offer us an emergency room that they keep. I was not happy we were never offered that in the first place. As I was working with her, the first worker came back and tried to still order us our original room where they would have the master key and we would have to ask them to unlock our door everytime if someone didn’t stay in the room..I said that was not going to work and needed the emergency room that is available. Our room was clean and fine. Breakfast was very dry and ran out of stuff quick. We had to keep waiting on a lot of things. Overall just not pleased with the customer service provided in the evening hours.

Great location, we were close to everything. Downside was no pool for the kids. The doors were a little noisy and you had to slam them to get them to close
