Hyatt Place Sioux Falls South

When I arrived at the hotel, they could not locate our reservation. I had booked two rooms and they could find nothing. I had my confirmation number my itinerary information and there was no finding my reservation. The staff was so helpful. They found us their last two rooms and accommodated us at the rate that we were given through Hotels.com. This could’ve been a complete disaster. Had the staff not been so helpful with us. We were there moving family members from one state to another. So for us to arrive from another state and not have the hotel have our reservation was very concerning. I can’t say enough, how helpful the staff was I would recommend this hotel 10 times over. The breakfast was great. The rooms were fabulous. The service was exceptional. The views are impeccable. It’s very close to everything or not far from anything you would like to get to.

We stayed here on our family vacation twice and loved it! The staff was very nice and helpful. The property was very nice and well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

Loved this hotel! Would stay here time and time again. New, huge rooms, super clean. Friendly check-in. Nice continental breakfast. Love the deck off the back looking over the water. Walking path is right there, too. We stayed at the StayBridge Sioux Falls (which was awesome!), but for a little bit cheaper, this one is way better. Great for families with small children (clean and spacious), alone (safe), or romantic date night (deck off the bar area, light a fire on a chilly night). Bathrooms: 2 lights and decent lighting. We had windows for natural light and blackout roller shades. Full length mirror. Safe. Drawers and a closet for hanging clothes. Would be a GREAT place for an extended stay. Bed: soft and comfy. Floors: hard with a rug. So clean!

Would like to see a full service bar. Dining options need upgrades. The mac n cheese was like a kids meal ans overpriced. The fryer was down so some menu items were unavailable.

Hyatt Places are always at the top of my favorite hotels. I can't always afford them, but if I can, I book with them. This stay was no different. We only stayed overnight on our road trip out west, and it was a great place to stop. It was super clean, modern, and had an awesome lake view with access to the lake and trail around the lake. They had gas fireplaces on their back patio as well for those cooler evenings and a bar to enjoy those drinks outdoors. Our room (2 Queen Beds) was really spacious with plenty of storage and places to put luggage. As a family of 4, we appreciated the extra sofa bed in the room so the kids didn't have to share a bed. Breakfast was fantastic. We travel a lot and have stayed at many Hyatts, and this was the nicest breakfast setup I have ever seen. Plenty of seating and food was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Sioux Falls area. It won't let you down.

Very nice. Had a family above us that had children who were constantly scooting the chairs on the deck and we understood, we’ve had 4 kids ourselves, but when they started again at 6:30am, yikes! Nothing your staff could have done about it.
