Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Sioux Falls - Airport, an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, & a great pool for the kids.

The property seemed very new and well maintained. There is a golf course on the back side of the hotel which offers a nice view for those staying in that side. The hotel is far enough back from main road that noise is not bad or would impact those wanting quiet. A patio in back with a gas fire pit is nice for those looking to sit outside, especially when the temperatures are cooler. For golfers, the South Dakota Golf Association is located within the hotel along with a Hall of Fame board. This area leads to the Crooked Pint, where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be had. If you decide to have breakfast there, note the menu is very limited but delicious. We did not use the pool but it was well put together and offers a section for smaller children by having lily pads and two squirt cannons (low pressure) Would definitely return in the future.

I love that this hotel has the futon couches so my family of 5 was able to spread out and no one slept on the floor. The only issue we had, which I noticed other reviews mention, was being charged by Expedia and the Hotel. Please watch your card statement. As soon as we saw the double charge we called the hotel and they cleared it. No reasons no apology. Keep an eye on your charges here.

The trundle bed double Queen room was perfect for our family of six! Pool was fun, cleanliness was excellent.

Absolutely loved the trundle bed in the room! This made it to where our whole family could comfortably sleep in one room, saving us money on having to have 2 rooms!

I booked 4 rooms for our family due to a family death. 3 of the rooms were great. The 4th was not completely turned over. Beds unmade, trash in the room. Front desk was very polite, but still had to haul our luggage back and forth.

This property is absolutely perfect if you are traveling with pets and the family!

We booked the room the day before we checked in, and arrived late at night. Our stay was just a rest stop during a long road trip. The room was clean, comfortable and seemed new and/or well kept. The bed and pillows were very comfortable unlike many hotels. The only complaint I have is that although the info we provided upon booking the room stated how many people, how many kids and the kids ages, the clerk told us that she didn't prepare a room with king sized beds because she didn't know our kids ages. Since we had 3 kids and 2 adults, we needed more than 2 queens so we asked for a rollaway bed and she said they didn't have any. That was super disappointing and made for a real tight squeeze of a sleep for the 3 kids on a queen. (ages 5,10 & 13) Overall we would definitely stay again.
