Cambria Hotel Rapid City near Mount Rushmore

Hotel was clean. Easy to get to and staff was very friendly. The walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear every screaming toddler around you. Beds are not comfortable. The last day we were there really didnt have very hot water for our showers but was ok.

I was born and raised in Rapid City. I stay here while visiting my family, This Hotel/Property is well managed. While able to get many discounts with another hotel chain (platinum member) I prefer this hotel.

My family and i love staying here! I would suggest them getting outside cameras as my car got broken into and there was nothing to show the police seeing as there was no cameras in the front of the building.However over all we do come and stay here all the time even after the certain events that took place! its our go to hotel! the pool and hottub are great. The rooms are always clean and ready to check in when we arrive. The staff are always friendly.

Staff was good at the front desk, friendly and very helpful. The shuttle had no ac and the weather was hot. The shuttle smells of cigarettes. The washing machine didn’t work good, there was still food on my 5 yr olds clothes after the wash. The carpet and some upholstery definitely needs to be shampooed/steam cleaned. The pool was good, kids had fun. WiFi was slow, not good as I was using/needing it to work. Overall I liked my stay, I’d say it was “okay” but would’ve appreciated a lower rate due to the dirtiness (which could be cleaned with a simple shampoo cleaner) and washing machine issues because we had to do another wash cycle. My teenager appreciated the gym, i also worked out in there, it was cool and smelled good/clean.

This was our first visit to Rapid City. We have family who recently moved. So we will be here often. This will be our hotel of choice. Rooms were great as well as the service.

My family and I stayed at Cambria for 4 nights. We were arriving late so I placed a call to them and they were so friendly and said it wasn't a big deal, we walked into a very clean and friendly environment, beautifully decorated, nice exercise room, nice pool/hot tub area and all open 24 hours which was very convenient for my family. Our room was very clean and decorated/set up beautifully. Buffet breakfast and other meals and drinks provided at extra cost but very reasonable! Anytime we walked the have staff was super friendly asking if we needed anything. Great place all around! Would recommend to anyone!

My family spent a week here for a black hills vacation. The room was beautifully furnished and well maintained. The staff was exceptional' would love to stay here again.

My family and I have stayed at the Cambria multi times. We had to get up about 3am to catch a very early flight. When we got up, as I was gathering our stuff up, I caught a bedbug crawling on the bed. I put it in a glass and took it to the front desk. While the lady at the front counter tried to give me a refund, she wasn’t sure if she could because I booked through hotels.com I did not get a refund, I called hotels.com and they also could not or would not refund. I normally don’t do reviews, however I feel this one needs to happen. I will be shutting down my account with hotels.com and won’t be booking through them again if I won’t be able to get help when there is an issue…

The hotel was not on the GPS, but we could see it right off the Interstate. The hotel was great. The kids particularly enjoyed the pool area. We'll stay there again.
