Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham Deadwood

Only complaint was the breakfast was a little less than - no very many choices - would have been nice to be able to take advantage of that but there was nothing really for protein for a picky family that was going to go hiking at spearfish

Expedia put me in a smoking room for whatever reason, don't remember putting that as a request in my search but thankfully the staff got me and my family into a non-smoking room.

I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for a family trip. The rooms were nowhere near each other, in separate buildings. The view from our room looked at a concrete wall and a walkway for others to get to our back building. Another room looked out into the parking garage. We were informed after check in that was no maid service at all and to stop by the front desk to get something we may need. I never complain, however after spending over $1600.00 for our 3 day stay I felt it necessary. The problem of being short staffed is not what this was about. There were employees ... they just weren't doing their jobs efficiently. I am a Gold member of Hotels.com and I truly believe that I was treated poorly for not booking directly through Travel Lodge.
