Room was clean but a little small to be considered a “suite”. Our window faced the hallway which was awkward. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Location is awesome. We were in the heart of the town which for us is a good thing, other families may find it loud, but we came for the music happening outside :)

Hotel was great, updated amenities made staying downtown Deadwood comfortable and customary. Breakfast was good! Pool was just enough to keep the kids happy but not overpowering when their were a million kids there. Staff, especially. CHARLOTTE, were amazing! Friendly, accomidating (even helped us pull off a family surprise), rearrange some rooms. and suggest local options. All staff were nice and greeted us promptly when we passed by the desk . Definitely go there again!!

Upon arrival we were notified the elevator was not working. They put us on the 4th floor but my dad cant walk up stairs. I asked to be moved to the bottom floor. They couldn't move us. There we no options. The desk clerk was super rude about it. Talked down to me like a child. My elderly father had to climb up 4 flights of stairs. Took us a very long time to get him up there. Due to that, he had to stay in the room for our entire stay. Elevator still isn't working.
