Hampton Inn Columbia-I-26 Airport

Our two-night stay was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant to speak with, especially Leron at the front desk who checked us in. I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel appeared fairly clean unlike my last stay a couple years ago at a Hampton Inn. My only complaint for cleanliness was outside in the parking lot. There were liquor bottles throughout the parking lot curbsides. I liked that there were shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles attached to the shower wall, but they were definitely placed on the wrong wall. They were centered to the tub on the long wall. Since this is an older hotel, the tub showers are very very small, and I kept bumping into the bottles. In my opinion, the bottles should have either been placed on the wall under the shower head or the wall opposite the shower head. Also, the tile floor did not meet the molding edge on the wall that gave the appearance that the floor was not finished and was dirty. Other than that, everything was great to include the breakfast. My family plans to stay here again in the near future.

thankful to find somewhere for my family and i to escape to for a weekend but the cleanliness was very disappointing. hair everywhere, in the beds and all over the bathroom floor when we first checked in. made sense when we passed by a room with the door propped during checkout and saw a room cleaner sitting on the counter top in the room

Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling!! The room had no heat. Called the front desk and the lady asked me if I pressed the power button to turn it on as if I am incompetent. She came to the room and still asked childish questions and assumed that her click of the button turned the unit on with me already telling her that the heat has been turned up to the max. She proceeded to say that the maintenance man is off on weekends and they were sold out for the night and they can refund if I like. The room got pretty cold in the night. The unit never turned on and stayed with an error message. The bathroom had nets and mold all over the ceiling. The tub was dirty and shower walls had dirt spots. Do not stay here!

Check in was fast , guests were families with kids. Very quiet and clean .

It was ok. Our first room was filthy. It had a lot of trash under the pullout bed. Shawn was very nice and got us another room immediately. The receptionist the next morning was sweet also. My kids wanted hot chocolate, she gave them extra packets to take home. I wish they would consider almond milk or another alternative for people with dairy allergies. My husband really enjoyed the gym. So overall it was ok.
