La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rock Hill

We had a nice stay overall. Check in and out were easy. The kids liked the pool. Did see some dust/cobwebs on the wall as well as some garbage behind the dresser. Bed was pretty comfortable and bathroom was clean. We had stayed before and were more impressed the last time but overall we’re happy with our stay.

Always good for a quick overnight stay. We can grab a quick bite and even stay with our fur baby. Great location, clean and a fair price.

The staff was outstanding and kind. Very much appreciated after long travel day. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Accepting my pets as my family was a great blessing. Thank u so much!

The hotel was convenient to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were ok. The front desk staff was very friendly. We had to ask for towels and washcloths everyday. They only provide fresh every three days. I know it’s to save money/water, but with 2 adults/2 kids at a basketball tournament in the summer… three days with the same towels would be rough.

Comfortable rooms, convenient parking, friendly staff. We did have curdled milk at the breakfast buffet in the morning. We alerted other families to this.

Upon arrival, the receptionist who checked me in was very stand-offish. She examined my ID like it was a possible counterfeit. She spoke down to me as if I had never spent a night at anything more than a roach motel, explaining basic policies to me as though i were a child. The price per night was grossly over-inflated. We've spent numerous nights in far nicer hotels in uptown high-rises for the same price with far greater comforts, and amenities. Every time I went downstairs on my way to my vehicle, or once during a trip to the store, the employees at the desk were watching me like a hawk, with much disdain. It was as if they were looking for a reason to feel animosity against me. I have long hair, large visible tattoos. I get it. I don't look like the type of guy that would stay at such an establishment. However my wife and I, regularly take romantic getaways, at various hotels in my area, and this has been the first time I was treated in such a way by the staff. My wife and I are willing to pay a premium price for valued service. The hotel is decent, don't get me wrong, but the staff is not. Thirty minutes before check-out, the phone in my room rings, and my wife answers it. It was someone from the front desk, smugly stating we would be charged $250 for smoking in the room. We don't smoke. We had a glass jar candle that had been burning all night, and apparently someone complained? They charged my credit card $250 twice

I was unable to enjoy the pool area as the amount of people were overwhelming and they were drinking and the kids were obnoxious and screaming. I spent 15 min and left. Also the power went out and I was unable to use the shower in the morning. It was difficult to find anyone to ask questions to in the morning.

The walls not block any noise. I can hear next door laughing , showering, flushing, dog barking, baby crying and door close outside all night and early morning. I only got 2-3 hour sleep.

Room was nice and spacious. My only issue was the small bugs kind of like gnats around the bathroom sink and just how loud the people above me were, kids running back in forth all hours of the night. Other than that the stay was nice. The front desk was very nice and professional.
