The pool amenities & location was why I stayed here because we were a family with kids. We were in room 724 which was mediocre had a small continuous leak on bathroom floor from a closet the whole time. No bugs or roaches in room so at least it was clean, just a little run down. Pool amenities were exceptional, kids loved it. Access to beach had 3 locations except 1 shower far left looking from beach never worked. Staff at front desk is not very helpful from the start didn't even explain how to go from parking garage to room or where to unload after asking 3x plus $10/day parking. Luggage carts sometimes impossible to find like 1 day when we came back from getting groceries. Security just sitting there at side desk all the time on phone doing nothing & no front desk or other staff wasn't any help to find any. The other guests were more help than them. 1 day water was out half the day. Last day the maintenance comes fixes the leak in bathroom interrupts us trying to use bathroom, shower & get checked out. Housecleaning staff very nice & maintenance but Security & front desk sucked. So there were good & bad here like most places. Place needs to work on updating rest of place, don't charge to park especially in your crappy parking garage, some staff should be more helpful & fix that beach to pool shower. Take notes staff & guests.

This was our first time at Beach Cove, and it definitely won’t be the last. What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. From multiple pools and multiple hot tubs to a lazy river and then easy access to the beach. What more can you ask for. Wonderful for kids as they had a great time and tons of dining options and shopping options. Will definitely return.

Great experience overall. Beds are comfortable, plenty of room in the 2 bedroom condos, seating is abundant, games available for kids in the cabinets (I’m sure this varies with which condo you stay in), beautiful view from the room, staff are all nice and helpful. Only issue was they kind of rush to check out but I know they are busy. Lazy river back open as of 8/21! All pools available and were well kept. Maintenance crews even nice! Wonderful weather this time and an all around good experience.

This resort is perfect for families. The staff was very friendly and we loved the convenience of having a kitchenette in our room. We also lived that security frequently walked around the pool deck in prder to make sure everything was under control. The only thing that I did not like was that the pull out sofa in our room was old, stained, and had a foam piece on it so we ended up not using it which made it uncomfortable for my daughter to have to sleep on the couch.

Not all the pools are open due to construction but overall good place , got woke up at 1:30am by some drunk parent arguing with her also drunk kid not sure how old she was but that was a bit ridiculous, called front desk to send security, never saw security come up

Booked our room through Expedia and when we checked in it was NOT the room we thought we booked. Dirty and outdated…no hot water, the TV’s didn’t work, bedroom door did not close and it was filthy. I reached out to Expedia and they suggested I reach out to the hotel manager in the morning. When I spoke with the manager she immediately gave me a room key to another available room to look at. Not only did she promptly switch our room but she gave my kids $20 worth of gift cards for the arcade and $100 restaurant voucher. So incredibly grateful that she was so gracious, helpful and respectful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Cove Resort. It was our first time here. The outdoor pools were a big hit for my kids and having an oceanfront view was amazing! Being able to walk right to the beach from the resort was super convenient. I am already looking forward to booking another stay here in the future!

If you are traveling with a child who is still in diapers, please read this review and save yourself by staying elsewhere.
This was my family's first visit to Myrtle Beach. We loved the city, but were very unimpressed with the property and will not be returning.
Pros: the room itself was nice enough and the pools were good. We loved how close we were to the beach.
Cons: I booked this property because it claimed to be family friendly. We had our 4 month old and a four year old with us. The property did not have a changing station in ANY of their public restrooms. When I asked a staff member where I should go to change his diaper, they suggested the bathroom on the floor. I was so upset by both her tone and the unsanitary suggestion. Also, the food is inedible.

Everything was clean and a very comfortable stay. This was our first stay on the beach and Beach Cove provided exactly what we needed for a quick family trip.

I researched many websites about this place before finally committing. The reviews were all over the place, from “never again” to “I’ll be back.” People have very different expectations so I knew the truth was someplace in the middle. I’m from Cape Cod and we have many old resorts ranging from cheap to overpriced, and I’ve spent a lot of time in many of them. With that said, I’ve very happy we chose the Beach Cove Resort. North Myrtle, where this resort is located, is far enough away from the craziness of the strand and felt very safe for families. It’s located within walking distance of a few great restaurants, and even a bit further up from Barefoot Landing which was an awesome place to eat and shop. The staff at the hotel was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping does not come daily for extended stays like ours, but brought us towels whenever we requested. The pool maintenance crew worked so hard to keep the pools clean and safe, and it showed. The only negatives I found were the elevators were kind of slow during high traffic hours, and a bit sandy and hot. There was no complimentary coffee, tea or continental breakfast. The breakfast buffet was pricey for the options they offered. We didn’t eat at the other on-site dining but did enjoy the Breezes Beach Bar thoroughly! The location was perfect, the beach spacious and clean. Parking was ample, free and on-site in a garage. We’ll be back!!
