Fairfield Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach Broadway at the Beach

Hotel lied about giving back my refund and had it recorded, will never stay there again... The general manager anna rogers lied right in my face telling she would refund one stay because i had to check up a day early because of death in the family.

Hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was very nice, approachable and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good assortment of foods. The hotel is close to anything you could need and a lot of fun family places to go. It is right at Broadway at the beach which is so much fun.

Our stay was so so. The woman that checked us in was rude and not friendly at all. My mom wanted to pay cash and they would not allow her. She told her she couldn’t stay if she didn’t use a card. So I had to put it on my credit card. The breakfast had very few options for kids. The air didn’t work the greatest. The bathroom was dirty and the shower had crud in it.

The hotel was absolutely outstanding. Due to travel issues I had to check in late and when I called they were very accommodating, and helpful. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The room we stayed in was very clean and very spacious. I will absolutely stay in this hotel again on my next visit to Myrtle Beach, and will definitely recommend this specific hotel to all my friends and family members!

The entrance,room,pool area was very clean. What I did not like is at breakfast time the assistants tending to the breakfast area were RUDE AND NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL! I watched them (WHILE GUEST WERE IN LINE WAITING TO GET FOOD) tHEY JUST CAME IN AND PULLED ALL TRAYS AND BATTER MIX FOR WAFFELS! tHIS WAS WHILE PEOPLE WERE WAITING TO GET FOOD. They said nothing at all the guest thought they would come back they did not say anything. Then after a dozen complaints the batter mix was brought back. The two continues to talk junk out loud so guest could hear that they did not care if you are in line it was a cut off time.. VERY disrespectful and unnecessary. The kids could not get juice or a biscuit because she never put that back just the waffle batter.It seem like everyone came at once so everything had a line. The help was pissed and showed it. The workers conduct was unprofessional and uncalled for. The entire hotel could hear just check your video of that area.

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the uncomfortable bedding. We found clothing from previous patrons left behind which is a giveaway that the room was not thoroughly cleaned and inspected. My family and I had to deal with the stench of urine and mold due to the condensation from the A/C unit. You could tell that the floors had not been vacuumed. There was a completely different carpet smell in the main hallway which I could tell had been treated and vaccumed. The toilet was dirty along with the bathroom in general. We didnt have enough enough tissue and household necessities such as trash bags. Overall, it is bad enough that we paid a heafty price and were not anywhere near the beach. I guess it is because Broadway is across the street. Will never stay there again.
