Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia Killian Road

Our stay was just an overnight but the staff on duty was friendly and accomodating. We arrived early and we were able to get checked in early so we could settle in and enjoy more time with family.

Amazing! it truly exceeded my expectations!! I’ll definitely be back! Staff was super nice and helpful everything very clean very family friendly! And pet friendly!!!! The outside of the hotel is beautiful very peaceful and walking distance to a lot of restaurants which was great!!!!

Very nice location right off highway on way from NYS to Florida. Was able to have my four indoor cats between 2 rooms. They did very well for never having traveled before. This hotel appreciates that our pets are our family. Would definitely stay again if needed. Only complaint was the cabinet door to refrigerator was hanging off hinge. I did report and they already knew about it. Breakfast was ok. Lots of place for dinner close by, we picked firehouse sub and brought it back to stay with kitties.

So my family was there for a wedding and several of us stayed there. The only thing I disliked was that the water pressure in the shower was low and my shower had had in it, like whomever cleaned it didn't do a proper job, no extra tissue and i'm saying this b/c I use to work for Great Wolf Lodge in housekeeping, so the bathroom wasn't up to par and something in the fridge was broken and no one called maintenance to get it fixed or replaced.

Easy check in, room was very clean, and quiet at night. (Could not hear any cars). Breakfast was good, kids loved the waffle maker.

I must say that the property was nice and in a good location. The staff was nice until I called the front desk to find out why our pillows were soiled and there were wet cleaning towels laying around. I was told to move my family to a room temporarily until our room was cleaned. I attempted to calmly tell the agent that would not be possible we had started to unpack and I didn’t want to force my handicapped mother to move 2x. While trying to explain I was told by the agent that I was going off on him and “coming down” on him and he became very rude. This was not necessary and not needed when our room should have been clean anyway before we checked in (at 330). By the way the lady that cleans the room was sitting on the floor playing games on her phone a few doors down. So, nice property but poor staff.

The property was clean and near as I have always experienced. However it was not disclosed to me before checking in that there was a party in the room above me. I checked in after nine. Around 1045 I called the front desk and explained that it sounded like a wrestling match in the room above me. She said she would speak with the guests upstairs. I called three more times same issue. I explained to the desk Tatyana Alston I believe is her name that I was only there for a few hours and that I had to check out at 5 to drive 8 hours. Then my husband Went to the front desk and she proceeded to tell him that she did her part by asking the guests to quiet down. She said that the guest told her the children were asleep, she never came to my room to verify the complaint this went on until about 3 am. I checked out a little after 5. This is the hotel I stay in Majority of my trips to columbia. This has far been the worst experience at this location which is usually very helpful and respectful.

This is the one! We looked at several locations nearby and the reviews led us to choose this hotel. They were spot on - it’s a phenomenally clean, professionally ran, convenient location. There are great restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive (or even walk), and everything looks new and modern. Everything was so clean and spotless. The breakfast was fantastic, too. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Now that we had to stay at another hotel a week later, my kids are bummed that it’s nothing like our stay at this Hampton location.

I was really looking forward to a relaxing stay at this hitel. Based on the previous reviews I read, I knew I was going to enjoy it. Howevwr, my stay was horrible. When i got in the room, the toilet was dirty. Someone had to come up and clean it. The tile and carpeted floors in the room were dirty (not swept and/or vaccumed good). The refrigerator did not get cold enough, just barely cool. The chairs had stains on them. There were dirty hand wash bottles in the bathroom and dirty towels. This hotel really has some bad vibes here and I dont know what they are running there. Someone came into my room saying they had the wrong room, and two others tried to get in. Besides hotel management having a key, why would someone be freely able to walk into your room if I am already occupying it! I should be the only one to get in with my key! The upkeep of the hotel as far outside trash cans, trash cans in the breakfast area, and cleanliness of the breakfast area was very unsanitary. The whole area oursise and in parking lot smelled like weed. When checking out, I was not even asked how my stay was. I had other family members to stay here and their stay was worser than mine! Either this hotel needs new management and new workers or just needs to close down. I highly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
