My recent stay at The Loutrel has forever raised the bar for my hotel experiences. This gem in the heart of Charleston is more than just a place to stay; it's a benchmark against which all future hotel visits will be measured. The perfection of The Loutrel started from the moment we checked in at midnight, welcoming us into an ambiance of unparalleled hospitality. Each day was brightened by their delightful breakfast and afternoon happy hour, a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction. The room itself was a haven of cleanliness and comfort. It was, without a doubt, the cleanest hotel room I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The meticulous attention to detail was evident in every corner of the space, ensuring a restful and luxurious stay. Location-wise, The Loutrel couldn't be more ideally situated. Nestled comfortably within walking distance to all of Charleston's prime attractions, it allowed us to explore the city with ease and convenience. However, what truly sets The Loutrel apart is its exceptional staff. Each member we interacted with was not just friendly and courteous; they went above and beyond to make us feel like family. This level of personalized service is a rarity, making our stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. A special mention must be made of the complimentary drinks and snacks. Sourced locally, they provided a delightful and authentic taste of Charleston's culinary scene. This thoughtful touch added an extra layer of enjoyment

This hotel was beyond our expectations, it is beautiful and so clean with stunning decor and on arrival we were offered a delicious welcome cocktail…. Staff was so friendly! there is free bottle water, sparkling water and high quality snacks in the lounge….all free. The gym even had cooled towels, power bars and water. Our room was filled with snacks and the mini fridge filled with non- alcoholic drinks which were all complementary! The quality was top notch and they even offered a wonderful breakfast that accommodated gluten free and vegan. The staff was first class and we definitely would stay at the Loutrel again… also so impressed with roof top lounge and complimentary cocktail at 5:00. Great spot to hang out and play cards with the kids. The location was perfect… rooms were amazing, and beds were So comfortable, truly a Gem!

We can not say enough amazing things about this hotel and every person working there. First and foremost, the property is stunning. Fresh, clean, new and beyond well kept. Next, the staff is incredible and beyond attentive to your needs. The amenities here are outstanding as they met every need we could have had. A mini bar restocked daily of an insane variety of non alcoholic beverages, bottled and sparkling water available at all times in your room, in the club room and upon request. Local snacks left in your room daily to make sure you never go hungry. The breakfast offered each morning was delectable, the chef there is very talented. The small plates at the Veranda lounge were fantastic, especially the charcuterie. The cocktails were so inventive and unique, on top of the bartenders being fabulous. Live entertainment on their rooftop terrace with complementary drinks and snacks during their “finest hour.” The Dyson hairdryer in each room, fluffy linens, super comfortable bedding and beds, clean design and decor. Legitimately not one detail was missed when this place was dreamt up and brought to life. We could not have imagined a better first anniversary/baby moon trip and are already planning our next trip back!

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel in Charleston, conveniently located near Market and Meeting Streets and the water front park. My family stayed there for a weekend getaway, and the staff was super helpful and attentive. We loved the lounge and downstairs bar area. Rooms were very clean with first-class amenities. Loved the complimentary refreshments and snacks. Highly recommend. We will definitely be staying at The Loutrel again!!

It was a beautiful stay! The rooms were so spacious and clean! We had a baby with us and it was a perfect amount of space for that as well! I will definitely be returning!
