Great location but the staff and the actual hotel were just OK. The food was not good and the bar downstairs was very "chainey". Also smaller things like having Keurigs in the room is great but Folgers K cups? There were also maid service carts up and down the hallways at all times which was tough to manuever with a baby stroller.

Loved our stay here! The staff took care of everything, not an oversized resort, small enough to not feel over crowded. We had our 7 year old with us, while we did not see any other kids during our stay we were not excluded because we had a child with us.

The hotel is nice. Unfortunately they don’t have a microwave so you can’t warm up your food. This can be costly for families with children because they are forced to buy food everyday.

Mills house was central and walkable to the historic district of Charleston. Great stay for kids. We stayed for 4 nights. My only complaint is that the cleaning in between nights were not good at all. They did not even refill tissues which is basic.

Gorgeous hotel- fresh, modern and clean. Decor was so nice. Loved the on-site coffee shop! Such an easy walk to King St, the market, historic downtown, and waterfront. We parked in the garage behind the hotel which was perfect- connected directly to the hotel. The rooftop pool/lounge area was beautiful and we were looking forward to using the pool however it turned into bachelorette party central all day long (with about 10 floats in it), so there wasn’t much room for us and we would have been party crashers with our two young kids. Oh well. Not the hotels fault! Would stay here again.

We did not enjoy our stay. The bathroom door did not close, the AC didn’t work, there is no access to a microwave (I have an infant), no in room dining, the pool was dirty, they stopped serving food and drink at the terrace bar well before close. For the amount of money spent this hotel is not worth it.
