Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh New Stanton

We stopped here for a quick overnight during a road trip and found it very comfortable, clean and a pleasant stay. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast had many options and was better than we expected. We stayed at several hotels during our trip, and everyone agreed that this hotel was their favorite.

Friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms. Our go to stop in route to visit family in NJ.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. We had a large, double-queen suite which was plenty of room for our family of four with older kids. Breakfast was fine, what you'd expect for a free hotel breakfast. This hotel seemed to be the best thing in this ruddy little town though. We would recommend this hotel, but make sure you get dinner before you arrive or plan to drive a little ways.

There’s never a problem staying at the Hampton Inn New Stanton, PA. It is very convenient when visiting our family. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We will return!

Room space a bit tight but overall clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights, two rooms for our family (5 of us stayed). Good breakfast.

We were in room 312 and there were kids running above us till 9-10 pm, and then we still could hear someone stomping on the floor above us and walking around throughout the night. Lack of floor insulation, and the receptionist didn’t seem to want to be there when we arrived at 6:30 pm.

The hotel is poorly maintained and very dirty and rundown. There is a pervasive smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. There are no healthy options for food nearby, and their own small hotel ‘store’ was under stocked with only junk food. Check ins kept occurring well past midnight with loud coming and goings easily heard coming from the hallway (doors slamming, loud voices and smoking). There is a definite loosening of criteria from a family friendly spot to whatever they can get to fill empty rooms after a certain hour. Main desk check in person was disheveled and also reeked of smoke. Would have left but needed to stop due to fatigue and lack of vacancies nearby. Had reserved in advance here due to the Expedia reviews being high. Am now reconsidering using Expedia due to the incongruity with review to own experience. This hotel— if you are looking for a quiet, clean, smoke free say on the road— stay far away from here, and this exit off I70 in general. Nothing, and I mean nothing to recommend.

We were in new Stanton for a family wedding. The whole family, including the wedding party, stayed at this hotel. The amenities and the hot breakfast every morning was awesome! The facilities and surrounding area was clean and quiet. The only negative that I have about our stay is that we did not have the proper amount of towels in our bathroom. Beyond that, everything was amazing! I will say, that when I called the front desk to let them know that we did not have enough towels they brought them in an expedient amount of time.

Lost power around 7PM due to storm. Spent the night in darkness, had no power at all except for a tiny light in bathroom. No elevator, we were on the 4th floor. No hot water. Only emergency lights in the hall and stairwell. Should emergency generators also provide for some light in occupied rooms and elevators. Did give us a cold breakfast which was fine. Staff was nice. Great story to tell friends and family.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice ,and the cleaning staff were very accommodating with towels, bags ,and any other things we may have needed. I can’t wait to go back when I’m back in the area again visiting family.
