SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh Latrobe

This property provided a small indoor pool which was nice for traveling with children, as well as a nice continental breakfast. However, our room was not decorated as shown in online photos and felt unkept for the rate of the room (~244.00); dirty/significantly stained pull out couch mattress, unswept floor/found medication and winter sprinkles in the summer on the floor upon arrival, unwiped night stand/multiple water marks and residue, musty odor in the closet. After sharing with the manager, attempts were made to correct the issue. As a customer, I felt heard although, I think more could have been done to support these issues.

This hotel was very family friendly and spacious. The lighting provided an excellent mood.

Great layout. Very comfortable for my family of four. The beds were clean, and the pull of our couch meant my son did not have to share a bed with his big brother.

Liked all except the toilets. The toilets were very loud when flushed. You can even hear the surrounding rooms when they flush. I have a child with Autism - sensory affected by loud noises. Other than toilets, property is great

The staff is super-dooper great. The breakfast was great. HOWEVER, do not be fooled by the pictures on line of the room we got. It showed a separation between the two beds and a very large hide-a-bed that was also an l shaped large sofa. There was NO separation and the sofa was small and the hide-a-bed not real comfortable. THAT was very disapointing. Had we been staying more than one night, I would have demanded another room that was like the pictures shown. The staff was so pleasant that I just sucked it up and kept the room. My family was OK with it but our sleep was disturbed because of the non-separation between the sofa and the two queen beds.

Third or fourth time staying there it’s in a great location which makes it easier for us to visit family

I reserved 3 rooms for a family trip. When we arrived at 3:30ish only 2 rooms were cleaned and available.

Beautiful hotel. Clean, friendly staff, good for kids.

We were in the area for a small family vacation. Our room was larger than expected and the hotel overall was clean and very nice, but we checked out after 1 night due to some issues. I wouldn't recommend staying here with small children -- our room didn't have a bathtub to bathe our 3 kids. We made due with our older 2 in the shower, but had to bathe our 1 year old in the sink. We were told after checking in the pool wasn't open and wouldn't be for several days. We got to the room and had issues getting the fridge and TV to work. The manager and another employee ended up looking at both and got everything working, but the fridge was barely cold. In the morning, the hair dryer stopped working halfway through drying my hair. I called the front desk and they said they'd bring up another one, which never happened. There wasn't a huge selection for breakfast and what was there wasn't great, and every coffee carafe was empty. We weren't happy with our experience from the beginning, and wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.

It was a very nice room with plenty of space for my family of 5. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good with decent options. The pool was nice to use & the facilities were very clean and tidy.
