Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Greensburg

When my husband went to the vehicle he was questioned if he had a roon or not and was questioned who was in the room. Our 3 kids and ourselves were there to visit idlewild the next day. Not sure why he was questioned on our first night. But after it was a nic3 stay.

I've stayed at Marriotts before, but noticed as soon as I entered that this one had a great vibe. It was perfectly clean and didn't seem as frantic as some. The person who checked me in was quick, efficient and caring. (I was there for a family member's funeral.) I also noticed the ceiling in the room was higher than most, which I love. Best of all, in my rush to get on the road the day I checked out, I forgot a very expensive suit hanging in the closet. I called two days later. They had found the suit and actually shipped it back to me! This has happened to me before but I never had a hotel ship anything back. Also, breakfast was great and the place wasn't over-crowded. Great place to stay! Highly recommend.

Staff is always friendly and welcoming when we visit. This hotel has become the place to stay when we visit family. Thank you!

The room was not what we booked it didn’t even have a microwave or safe our child got sick in middle of night an we needed Tylenol but the hotel only had for adults we had to go to 4 gas station to find it a lot of children travel to they should carry stuff for children

It’s close to my new home so I can recommend to family and friends. Check in staff was pleasant

Great hotel. And water pressure and heat was great quality in the shower. Only problem was Expedia said it was king plus sofa bed. Room only had a king and a chair. Minor issue but good feedback for Expedia to not mislead. Hotel was willing to make it right. But if the hotel was full, my family would’ve been sleeping on the floor. Lol. More than liking cancelling and than fighting for a refund. Great property though.

Friendly staff, but overall underwhelming for the price. I imagine our experience was a bit different than one might typically encounter, but still worth mentioning. Our room, and hallway were frequented by the ever present stink bugs. Harmless, but annoying. And I'm sure they're in our luggage. We were staying for 7 days, and told that our room would be refreshed every other day. That was not the case as we received only one refresher. The building is currently getting a face lift in the form of a new paint job and exterior cleaning. It looks very nice, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time, as the work noise made it hard to get our two year old to sleep at nap time and woke him earlier than one would like on a vacation. On our 3rd day we learned the pool had failed some sort of electrical inspection and needed some minor repairs. The pool was never re opened during the rest of our stay. Which, was unfortunate because it was the kicker for us choosing to stay there, vs a cheaper hotel closer to the family we were visiting. I did speak with the desk staff about it and was told the GM would make a decision on some sort of compensation, and on the morning of our checkout learned they took $20 off our bill. At the moment I was fine with it. We were dragging all of our luggage out and trying to keep up with our child, but on the long flight home I felt a little slighted that the offer wasn't more along the lines of matching what a comparable hotel charges per night.

My kids had a blast
