Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Donegal, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful hotel! Local dining had great food and service. The kids had a blast in the pool and hot tub and the continental breakfast was so good.

Our family stayed here, in two adjoining rooms, for a weekend ski trip at Seven Springs. The hotel has a bit of a lodge vibe with the decor and taxidermy in the lobby. The service was friendly, the property was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good, and attendants kept it well stocked and spotless. Overall great value for the price.

When we got there my comforter had stains on it. I asked for a new one and was told I’d have to change the duvet cover myself. I said no they gave us a new room. The pool and hot tub while clean had 7 kids jumping in and out of the pool and hot tub like wild animals. So it wasn’t enjoyable. Maybe there needs to be a no kids after 8 rule? The free breakfast was mediocre and the room would never stay below 74. When we called for help the receptionist didn’t answer and when i went to talk to her she was sitting in her boyfriends lap- charming. Beyond that is wasnt terrible.

A great place to stay with many family things to do

This is a great hotel conveniently located near Falling Waters, Kentuck Knob and Polymath park. It's across the road from a gas station (not directly across, it's just down the road) and the gas station is Sheetz which has grab and go items incase you need a snack for the road. I would have given this place a 5 star review but 1. When I booked they advised they would give me a room on the top floor with a great view. Maybe they felt my view was great and that was the best view, but a view of a parking lot isn't awesome to me and I also don't think we were on the top floor. 2. Their gym is small and not very good. That may not be important to most people but it is to me. Also the gym is 24 hours and it's located in the pool area which is only available from 8:30-11:00 soooo....I had to bother front desk to let me into the pool area to access the 24 hour gym. 3. Breakfast was just ok. I think most people would be fine with it, especially if travelling with kids. They had plain oatmeal which was great - if you don't like plain you can add walnuts, sugar and raisns. I only wish they would have had hard boiled eggs and plain Greek yougurt. So for me the breakfast was meh, but for most it will be just fine. 4. Occassionally I heard noise at night almost as if the people above me were jumping. My sister heard the same.

The room was clean and comfortable. The linens were very nice! The staff was friendly. The breakfast provided with the stay was excellent, although, not food allergy friendly (one of our family member's has Celiac's).

Check in was amazing and they let our large family use dining area to eat both nights. Greatly appreciated

Everything was great. Nice new building. Clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast had a good variety and whole family enjoyed it.

Staff was really freindly and helpful. Unfortunately I don't believe our bathroom was cleaned prior to our stay. There were dirty used towels still hanging in the bathrom as well as hair and dirt in the sink and around the tub. Especially cincerning to us with the rise of health cincerns and having our children with us. The hot tub had a large amount of fiam that was brown and appeared dirty to say the least. The pool left us smelling in a wau that immediate showers were a must. Those amenities were are main reason for picking this place to stay and left us disapoiinted.

This Hotel is nice enough and clean. We rented an extra room for our small children requested adjoining. The room was booked on 11/22/22 for a 12/22/22 stay, but they would not accommodate despite a call ahead to confirm. We could not reach anyone at the location due to their staffing shortage. Paid for an extra room we did not need and no one was willing to help us.
