Was told I would receive a text message when room was ready. I waited 4 hours with two small children. Went to the front desk and was laughed at and told service at front desk is bad. I received text messages for dining and activities never received anything about my room being ready. My room was not ready until 6:30. The beds felt like bricks. I was charged 40.00 per night for valet and did not use valet at all. Overall horrible experience. If you are looking for a place in the poconos please skip camelback and go to kalahari. Everything is better there. Camelback is outdated and needs a good cleaning as well.

Very nice hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by all the accommodating touches. The breakfast was delicious, with something for everyone, including fresh fruit, oatmeal, homemade waffles, cereal, toast, some type of eggs, meat, potatoes, etc. Happy to find coloring/activity pages and crayons for kids. The room was very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. A nice fitness room contained a variety of exercise equipment in a comfortable setting. The pool and hot tub were clean, and we observed the janitorial staff cleaning often. Impressed with a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for one night. The online check-in was not working, but the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The room was decent for our family of four. All the toiletries, linens etc were great. But wow that air conditioning is loud and on auto it goes from blowing cold air to absolutely no air. Not the end of the world. We were there Memorial Day weekend so completely understandable that it is very crowded and busy. But this is a hotel and they have yours and yours of experience with it and have 365 days to prepare for it.It didn't seem that way unto very specific fronts. The pool was downright murky, warm and the water was thick. It's hard to describe but it was pretty gross. I don't know if they have a daily filtration system. Breakfast ends at 10:00 a.m. But from 9:00 a.m. onwards the stuff felt the need to remind everyone every 5 minutes. So we had a whole hours worth of countdown to remind people that breakfast was done at 10:00 a.m. The warning was useless because they started running out of food pretty much after 9 am. At 9:10 am a man asked for something that was out and one of the ladies said 'Sorry we're out and since we're closing at 10:00 we're not making more but you can have some more tomorrow." I got the exact answer around 9:15 when I asked for fruit. 'We don't have anything in the back. The truck comes in the morning and you can have fruit tomorrow! Seriously. It's a good location and price but that was not good.

Really enjoyed our stay. The pool opens at 6am which was great for my young children. Pool was clean and warm. Staff that ran breakfast was friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. Breakfast food was great with many options. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would highly recommend this property.

My husband, 2 young children (1 & 3) and I had a wonderful time. The room was clean, the breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were professional and nice. The pool area was nice and the water was a perfect temperature. Our only concern was the flooring in the pool area. When my 2 children and I arrived in the pool area, my 3 year old son slipped. He was simply taking two steps to the pool when he fell, landing on his butt. The 2nd & 3rd time he fell, he was simply getting out of the pool to walk over and jump in. It was after the 3rd time, I recommended he walk along the edge of the pool. When he started doing that, he was no longer slipping. I almost slipped walking to the door to let my husband into the area. Just taking 3-4 steps, I can feel the slickness between the feet and the floor because of the water. There were several areas that had puddles of water. We were sharing the pool with four other adults (2 men and 2 women). They were already in the pool when my children and I arrived. My 1 year old daughter almost slipped walking to the area to retrieve a towel from a bag, which was located near the door. We did not have to walk that far. Luckily, my daughter was holding my hand. At one point, a very pregnant woman (6-8 months), her husband and their two children arrived. My husband and I warned them of the slippery floor and the father informed us he was aware when they checked out the area before going to their room.

We stayed one night for a weekend ski trip in the Poconos. It was in close proximity to Camelback which was convenient. It was clean and the breakfast was good. My only complaint was that the pool and hot tub heaters were not working and so the pool was freezing and the hot tub was cold, but to the point where they could not comfortably be used. Our kids were looking forward to the pool but unfortunately could not use It. I had been texted by a hotel rep early in the stay to reach out for any issues, but when I texted to inquire about the pool no one ever responded.
