The pool is closed for renovations. This was not disclosed when I booked the hotel. Definitely a bummer since I’m traveling with two kids who were excited to swim.

The floor was not well swept. The room was muggy, dew covering the window, and the bedding was damp. The shower did not drain so had to stand in 5-6 inches of dirty shower water while trying to shower a family of 5… terrible.

The lady working the breakfast area, was super helpful and kind. She gave my children crayons and a coloring sheet to help keep them occupied as we finished our breakfast. Very good cinnamon rolls as well

We stay here a couple of times per year when traveling to the east cost on our way to visit family. The room is always clean. The staff is always more than accommodating. There is only one slight complaint. No bar. LOL. Not a deal breaker though. The breakfast is always good. The folks keep it clean and fresh. All in all this is a great place to stay when traveling. And because it's a HI Express you kind of know what to expect. We will stay here again.

Generally clean and nice. However, walls are thin. We were on the 2nd floor. We could hear thumping and footsteps above us into the early morning hours. Our children kept waking up due to the noise.
