The property was luxury class. But our room had not been used in a while and was quite dusty around the bathroom sink and on the surfaces . we did not have soap, hand, lotion, or a full Kleenex box, which ran out. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed watching TV in the evening on the sofa area. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely, except for the screaming children and mother. we very much enjoyed being able to have supper at the hotel without having to search for something in the downtown area. We did think the cost of breakfast was excessive but Convenient. We were very surprised at the cost of parking in their lot at $32 a night. We thought parking was included and available on site.. But it was very convenient in crowded downtown Pittsburgh and right next to the arena. Pittsburgh Street are in eternal construction, and very difficult to get around, with a lot of one-way streets. We went to see the Phipps Conservatory and enjoyed that immensely, but getting there was a chore because of Pittsburgh street construction.

Pros: Amazing proximity to PPG Paints arena and phenomenal game-day vibes! Staff is super sweet and prompt. Room setup is a lot of fun, the suite-style is really comfortable and keeps you able to sleep where you sleep and play/relax in a different area. MCM-vibe decor was super cute as well!! Room was a nice size as well- not humongous but good for our three person family and had a cool coffee bar thing. Parking was ample and easy and did not overcrowd on game day like we feared. Great proximity to tons of Pittsburgh sights! Cons: Quite simply, the room was dirty. It was clear that things had not been deep cleaned in some time, and even things like the tissue holder were really dirty. My son and I both struggled with our allergies due to the dust (allergies are not the hotels fault, of course). The floor desperately needed to be vacuumed. I went out to get cleaning products and cleaned and dusted myself (again, my choice because I could have called staff, I did not make them aware during our stay). The furniture could use a glow-up as well- the desk chair was torn and the tables were pretty worn. It was also not well stocked - we had to call for toilet paper and towels and the coffee bar thing had no cups, just lids. This was really the only con, but a big one.

pool was awesome! room set up and size was awesome with suite style rooms. only downside was carpets were stained and dated and 35 dollar parking, other than that it was a great fit for our family.

We were overcharged for parking even though we were supposed to be credited for parking after a key to our room was given to a stranger/family and they came into our room while we were in it. Manager lied and said it was a maintenance person (although the person clearly had kids and told us they had just checked in). There is limited food in walking distance and the restaurant there wasn’t great. There were NO vending machines and purchasing water at the front desk was a hassle since it was often unoccupied. The exercise room had no towels or way to clean equipment before and after use

It was very modern and clean. We especially liked the person that checked us in and took care of check out. I think his name was DRE. He was incredibly kind, efficient and very, very helpful to our family who was there for a graduation. Every hotel should have a DRE at their front desk to greet people when they arrive after a long trip.
