After a fantastic first stay at the Drury Plaza hotel in Santa Fe, NM, I suggested Drury Plaza Pittsburgh hotel to family members coming together in the city for a destination birthday. The price was good, and Drury Plaza simply is not like other hotels, with its lively breakfast and happy hours. The energy and service and extra details are great. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy. The building was classic, an old Federal Reserve depository, with lots of quirky historical design elements. The hotel earns 5 stars for all of this and more. However, what meant even more to me on this trip was that the Drury Plaza helped me when travel plans unrelated to the hotel went wrong (i.e. flight disruptions). I could not have asked for more gracious, competent, and empathetic service, both from the hotel staff and from the corporate customer service team. When things didn't go to plan, I felt as if the Drury Plaza team took my side when it did not need to. I will not forget how well the team treated me when I am looking to make future travel arrangements or recommend a hotel to others. I cannot recommend the Drury Plaza Pittsburgh hotel specifically, or the Drury Plaza branded hotels generally, any more highly. Thank you for a wonderful stay and guest experience!

This hotel never disappoints. the front desk staff is great! Rooms are enormous and comfy.. the only issue is that it is so family friendly that families with kiddos can be super noisy in hallways and in the breakfast area.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in for quite some time. They have a nice breakfast buffet in the morning along with coffee, juices, etc. They also have a free dinner as well as 3 free beverages. They have popcorn in the lobby and coffee and drinks available for free all day long. They also have a little market for any additional things you might need. Overall great for a family as travel and feeding everyone can be expensive. The room was also very nice and my son loved the pool. Right around the corner was a bunch of fantastic restaurants for when you do eat out. It is also not too far of a walk to other downtown areas including the baseball stadium! Highly recommend.

The hotel has a good location, but our room faced the next building's wall in very close distance ~ 10'. The windows are very dirty, they haven't been washed, probably, for decades. But this kind of room did NOT have the discount, and it cost us $219.00 per night plus tax. There are no differences between the room with at least some views and the room looking into stone walls. I know it because our children stood in another room. You feel like you are in the masonry well.

We traveled with little kids, they were sometimes pretty loud while in the lobby. The hotel employees were great with the kids and we appreciated it.

Loved the 8th floor patio to relax. The gym is extrmely small, and we are gym enthusiasts. It was disapointing considering the size and quality of the hotel itself. We werent able to work out during our 2 night stay because there was a handful of people in the gym already and it was too small. The valet parking attendant was not pleasant or patient. We were first timers to Pittsburgh and to the hotel and she made us feel as if we were wasting her time and we felt rushed to unload our vehicle so she could go park it. We were a family of 5 with a weeks worth of luggage, so this was quite stressful for us. The desk clerks were very curteous, patient and helpful

Every encounter with a staff member, from booking over the phone to getting out van from the valet parking, was exceptionally pleasant. Every single employee was genuinely friendly and accommodating. The building itself is beautiful. The historical interest of it being a former savings and loan, complete with in tact vault doors in the basement, was such an interesting bonus. Our only complaint, which is by no means the fault of the hotel, was that it was pretty noisy due to St. Patrick's Day and post-hockey game partiers. That part made it not the best for families, but again, would have been the case at any nearby hotel. Our kids loved the pool, though it did get really busy weekend evenings.
