Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Pool table and shuffleboard were a hit with the kids. Pool was small and breakfast foods were just okay, but with its great location and staff these were not deal breaker. We would still stay here again.

Hotel seemed new and clean. It worked well walking to PNC Park for the baseball game. However there is apparently very little sound proofing between floors. I am not normally bothered by typical hotel sounds. The first night we were kept awake by what sounded like someone stomping back and forth above us over an hour, well past midnight. We called the front desk twice and they did comp our parking which was nice. However I don’t think the people above us were doing anything excessive, just walking. They should be able to do that without it sounding like a herd of elephants to the floor below. Breakfast did not have many options either for the price. Lastly, the pool area was unbearably hot for sitting and watching the kids swim. Very strong chemical smell which actually made my daughter sick to her stomach. Need to be able to open a window or door, anything to fix the ventilation. Overall, Nothing was really wrong with it but it certainly wasn’t cheap…. We would probably try a different place next time.

The children and I stayed beside a “weed party”. The smell was unbearable and at 12 am, I called to complain. They DO have a no smoking policy and the receptionist had numerous complaints. Why didn’t they stop this earlier? My children were sleeping breathing in second hand weed. Then the party decided to speak so loud that it was very coherent in my room. I called at 1:07 am and again at 2:13 am. By 3:30 am it’s still going and I lost a night of sleep. I may have drifted off around 4 am when it was finally quiet. When I mentioned it at front desk upon checkout, they said “I’m so sorry.” That was it. No compensation given. Just an apology. Well, I’m sorry too, because I will not be returning.

Hotel is updated and rooms are clean! The property does not have a parking, so you have to park in a separate open air parking lot for $26 advertised as $19. We had to carry suitcases and cooler with two kids across the block to get to the hotel.

The front staff was condescending and did not easily explain the parking situation. There is no signs designating price of staying under Hotel (As opposed to parking outside in parking lot). Additionally, they do not have the ability to move cars inside hotel, which makes it possible to get stuck behind first row. Additionally, directly above me there were loud banging and running and kids up at 3:30am. Quite rude.

Jeff was absolutely amazing during our check in process. We kept him busy and even after apologizing several times, he kept ensuring us that he wanted everything to be perfect for us. He definitely went out of his way on several instances. I’m so thankful for his hospitality as it was Christmas Eve and I am a single mom with 3 kids. The room above us was partying extremely loud and we called the front desk at 2am and she assured us it would be addressed and sure enough we were able to finally fall asleep. She also helped me get my Children’s Christmas gifts safely upstairs. All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely stay again! Thanks again Homewood Suites

While I almost enjoyed my time there, the elevators were slow, there’s only one ice machine on the first floor in a back corner, and I didn’t even get reimbursed for a night that I didn’t even stay at the hotel, which is just greedy. I will never stay there again and will warn any of my friends and family visiting to stay far away.

We travel often for work and leisure. The hotel is very beautiful but the night we checked in and the morning, we were woken up by the guests above us. Loud running and banging. I understand it’s a hotel and I too have children but I talked to staff twice about my concern and each time they stated they would handle it. I even asked for a later check out and they only offered a half hour so we left at checkout. No one offered any sort of compensation for a miserable night stay. We left and stayed at the Etage Executive Living. So much better.
