Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lebanon, an IHG Hotel

When we arrived there were 3 other families trying to check in and no one was at the front desk for nearly 5 minutes. Once we got checked in and went to our rooms one of them smelled terrible. Like the prior guest had smoked 2 packs a day for a full week's stay. We didn't bother reporting it as we were only there for one night.

We were treated like family and anything we asked for was gettin for can. Ea

I used to stay at this hotel several times a year before covid, was always clean and comfortable. This was my first time back and it was totally disgusting. Everything was dirty. Hallways / stairwells/ elevator, never swept , same debree on floors for the 5 days I was there. Room was very dusty and dirty. Even after asking to have cushion under chair swept didn't happen. POOL was out of order and no sign on the door, no circulation, didn't notice it until the kids got in the pool full of hair and bugs. Pool bathroom was also trashed and unattended.

Bed was comfy. Breakfast was tasty. Our first night was reasonably quiet, the second kids were running up and down the hall, not really the hotels fault. The room had stained carpet and was mid renovation, but wasnt bad. Staff was helpful.

The bathroom was dirty had no towels. Asked for towels for a family of 4 got 1 towel. The pool room was extremely hot. The water was hot and dirty with hair in it.

Well first thing is first there was no one at the front desk when I arrived check in is 3pm I was there a little after. Went out to get my stuff out the car finally someone comes out. When I got to my room everything looked great except for the stains here and there on the walls that are being avoided to clean I guess I wiped it down myself came out fine not sure what’s up with house keeping then. We only got 1 towel and 2 wash clothes there is 2 of us last I checked they do 2 towels barely any toilet paper in the bathroom had to go down and ask for some to make sure we didn’t run out in the middle of the night. The bed was beyond hard I felt like I was sleeping on a floor and the ac/ heat unit wasn’t working right it was scorching in that room. Then I paid 130 bucks a night to be put right below a family with kids all I heard all night was a child running back and forth like really why would anyone do that we had the last room left so of course I knew I was stuck with it. The breakfast was ok not as many options as I’m used too but it was a hot meal so I was good to go. On our last day there was a nasty smell coming from the bathroom it was just horrible like someone just pooped their pants or something it was to the point where we left early told the lady at the front desk about our stay and all I got was an oh well I’m sorry about that we are working on a remodel to make everything better. I get that but what about your current guests experiences vs when that’s done?

Wasn't happy with the very expensive room that offered NO refrigerator for my kids milk and medicine nor a ice bucket .The carpet was filthy and wet poor condition of a room for such a young hotel.
