Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region

Amazing stay! Parking lot was clean and safe. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating! The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. We were a family of four. breakfast was very good, but there was also an IHOP next-door and a gas station with a convenience store. There are plenty of items (sundries) at the hotel front desk area to purchase as well. near many state parks with great swimming areas and beaches at their lakes and not too far from Kalahari water resort. We enjoyed our stay! A+

We stay here every Christmas time heading to our family. This time the bed were exceptionally comfortable as were the pillows. Thank you

The hotel has long been a stopover for our family and never disappoints. It is currently being updated and looks nice with progress so far. The only request we’d have is that the breakfast have specifically designated gluten free options, particularly for the cereals.

My daughter blocked rooms for her wedding last weekend. She was told that there would be a place to have a wedding after party. That was not the case as the area was still under construction. We wanted a place to continue to hang out with friends and family from afar and we had to in the hallway near breakfast area. Also, one would think that they would place us all in the same area. They did not. Our group had to leave the hotel and walk outside around the hotel and then back into the other side to visit other members of the wedding party. Some members of our group experienced rude staff members on several occasions. The only reason that I did not rate them the worst possible rating is because they gave me a refund when I shorten my stay by one night, they put up with us being a little noisy until midnight, and the maintenance guy was awesome. The place is old and barely being maintained to a functional level. No elevator to second floor or at least I did not see one. When we were leaving the maids were complaining about how they don’t get paid enough, even after they were given a tip.

This is the perfect mid-way stop for our frequent travels to family. The rooms could us a little TLC, but they were clean. Decent breakfast. All very good for the price

The parking lot light had an open wire box with no cover. Inside the box were the wires with wire nuts exposed. Coming out of the box was the wire cable itself running along the ground before going underground below the surface dirt. All this is illegal and unsafe. Local inspector would flag this. Dangerous if a child or person stuck their hands in it. I've been in construction for 40 years.

Comfortable, clean, and close to stuff. Solid breakfast, nice staff. Stayed here with family (2 young kids), and it was great.
