Homewood Suites by Hilton DuBois, PA

It was a decent stay for a weekend with family. Nothing to write home about. No hot tube in the pool area was sad. Breakfast was not worh getting out of bed for but other then that staff was friendly and very helpful, place was clean and in good repair.

Walls are paper thin!! We could hear every word our neighbor was saying. We also had guests upstairs (children) that did nothing but run around at 11pm and it was terribly loud!!! Front desk was called and did absolutely nothing. Probably would not stay here again

The hotel itself and hotel staff were great! Unfortunately we booked this hotel planning to swim but their pool is undergoing renovations so the kids were disappointed.

Staff let us use the conference room for our family to celebrate Christmas with a dozen family members. While there, a sprinkler system pipe broke near our room and the staff was right on the spot to clean up and we did not have to move all our stuff to another room. They were so friendly and accommodating. They helped make our Christmas special.

Apparently the pool has been out of operation for at least 2 years. We have 2 young kids who were very excited to swim.. Had we known that wasn’t an option/available amenity we would have booked elsewhere. The front desk stuff seems apathetic about the pool situation among other things. There was no remote for the television in the room so we called down to request a replacement. They said no problem. It never showed up. When I went to the lobby they had it there and said they couldn’t remember which room it was supposed to go to. The remote turned out to be broken anyway. Overall a very underwhelming stay and we wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Bathroom had hair in shower,sink,and shower gel/shampoo on shower wall. Bathroom door had dirty hand prints,hair in refrigerator. Felt unclean. Also very disappointed that the pool was closed. There was no mention of pool being closed. When booking, I purposely booked this hotel because it had a pool. My kids were very upset and made for a long evening. Next time I book a stay, I will make sure pool is open and running.
