This hotel was an unpleasant experience right from the start. After a very long day of driving, I arrived around 10 pm to find out the elevator was broken and the only king rooms were on the third floor. The front desk clerk allowed me to switch to a double room on the second floor to alleviate some walking. Upon entering the room, all appeared normal, until I entered the bathroom. The tub was dripping incessantly, and the handle and escutcheon for the shower were actually put on upside down. I kid you not. Someone installed the hardware upside down. When I went to put my drinks in the provided fridge, I was greeted to a half-empty water bottle left there from the previous guests. No staff had even bothered to look in the refrigerator. Climbing into bed was challenging, as one of the two double beds was missing a top sheet. Someone made the bed and forgot the sheet! That’s something I would expect out of a much, much lower tier hotel, and *not* a Hampton Inn. I called down twice to the front desk to tell them about these issues and they assured me that my room rate would be discounted due to all these glaring problems. The following morning, I asked for a receipt upon checkout and told the new desk clerk about the room condition and how there should have been adjustments made to my room charge. She chuckled and handed me my receipt, with a zero balance since I paid on Expedia, and sent me on my way. I saw no adjustments listed. I will be calling Hilton directly.

Elevator is still broken. When we expressed concern, the front desk lady was dismissive and said it was not that big a deal. (A kind cleaning woman gave her apologies later. A little grace makes all the difference in a situation like this.) The room AC needed to be on too cold. If we went up to 65deg, it smelled like it was burning. Walls are paper thin. It seemed we were watching the TV that was playing in the next room. The pool was much smaller than it looked in pics and was overrun with children. The hot tub in picture is not functioning. The front desk said it has never functioned while she’s been there. It is time to remove it from pictures. The room was fine, though with a tiny and badly placed closet and desk. The refrigerator had no freezer section. We stayed two nights (only because it was non-refundable); they did not clean our room or replenish towels, supples, etc. We did see a tiny notice of this at the bottom of the mirror after we came back. This should be more prominent and mentioned on check in. The young man at the desk that night was gracious and quickly helpful. That makes such a difference.

Elevator broke put me 1st floor with kid baseball team. They would run by and knock. Dripping shower, sink drain was closed. Musty smelling shower curtain and towel.

Stopped by on our way home from visiting family in Boston. Comfortable bed, clean room, great breakfast. A great place to lay your head for the night.

Everything was great. The elevator was not working on our arrival. Going up and down the stairs was tough with kids and luggage. Hopefully this is just temporary. Other than that it was great.

As in all hotels we have stayed at recently there was only one person who seemed to be the only staff member for check ins and any other needs. She was being harassed by a credit card company for about 10 minutes with several of us waiting to check in. The pool was out of order (only thing my kids wanted) and the next morning the elevator broke down but at least we only had to drag bags downstairs. I was happy with the cleanliness of the room and that’s what matters the most.
