Our one night stay was awesome. We were there for a baseball game at First Energy Stadium. We parked our car in the garage and jumped into the free hotel shuttle and in five minutes we were at the stadium. The driver gave us a brief history of the area as we drove to the game. When the game ended, we called the hotel for a return shuttle and a new driver was there in minutes. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing. Our breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had during any stay in any state! If you travel to this area, the Double Tree is a Triple Treat. You will not be disappointed. The front desk staff greeted us as if we were family members. Thank you DT.

I have stayed at many double tree hotels but have never experienced any amenities being so dirty a this hotel. The pool water was white and cloudy and just overall not hygienic. My whole family decided to swim anyways because we thought maybe it was too much holding but it was the opposite. My whole family and I got sick from the water and got ear infections. Please clean up your main facilities and also do a better job cleaning your rooms, and overall gues facilities

I had an amazing stay here! I loved it. Friendly, polite, and helpful staff. On our first night, the staff greeted my children with a fresh cookie, and were very nice. 5 stars! Breakfast was amazing and again all staff treated us above and beyond service.

It was just an overnight trip with the family. Everything went smoothly.

Because we had a dog with us, they put us in a wing with a bunch of other dogs. Sounds like those dogs aren't use to being alone because the amount of barking was ridiculous. Our dog doesn't do that, but she was noticeably anxious hearing the other dogs barking and crying, and it also disrupted all of our sleep. On top of that, a worker at the hotel barged into our room at 9:15 am, waking me up straight into panic mode because what if my dog slipped out the door? Why would someone just come into the room? Are you kidding me? Surely you have the resources to identify which rooms are occupied. We were sleeping, it was not my favorite way to wake up. Check out is at 11, maybe wait until then to just walk into the rooms willy nilly. For the price I paid, all that on top of the lack of .an included continental breakfast made this a very disappointing stay, I'll look elsewhere next time I want to have a nice weekend.

I came to Reading PA for the Dreamcatcher concert. The staff at the Doubletree By Hilton was noticeably exceptional. Multiple times the staff asked us about our visit and were friendly. The rooms were large, clean, and quite. The breakfast buffet was very good and was complimentary. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Reading and I would recommend the same to my family, friends, and you.

I'm impressed with the friendly staff at Doubletree, you feel more than welcome! The hotel is amazing, very kids friendly and located in the heart of Downtown. We had a great stay! Looking forward to coming back soon

Made early reservations thru hotel.com in March 2022. Traveled from Lehigh county/Allentown, PA to Berks County 45 to 50 minute drive. Wedding scheduled Saturday 10/15 for my niece Alicia R (bride) who also stayed there and a few family members from afar. Called at 2:50 to advice front desk of my late arrival and that I will not be using the same credit card. That I will be using wallet card. OK. Got there 1 hour later to find out from front desk manager who told me we do not accept apple pay, unfortunately we had some bad apples that ruined it for everyone in the pass. Did not attempt to try punching in my master card numbers.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. I really wasn’t expecting the experience to be so amazing. I was looking for a hotel close to the Santander Arena since I was attending a concert there. This hotel is literally across the street which was perfect. The hotel lobby was absolutely beautiful. My 10 year old son said when we walked in “it’s like heaven” lol. But he was right I didn’t except the lobby to be so beautiful. We checked in and received complementary cookies for each of us! The room was very clean and comfortable! My hubby and son didn’t go to the concert with me and decided to enjoy the hotel pool which is heated and also very nice looking. After the concert we all met up and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel restaurant was wonderful. We met a wonderful hotel staff member named Sugar. She came by our table at dinner and introduced herself and really made us feel welcomed. She also the hotel’s Dream Maker’ . Not sure what that means but she is definitely hard working. I saw her when we went down to the restaurant for breakfast (which btw was amazing and free) and observed her greeting guest, cleaning tables, and just making sure things were running smoothly. Mind you this was 9am in the morning and we first met her the night before at 10pm at night. The hotel is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Everything was great all around. Service at the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were friendly and they all paid attention to detail. Breakfast was amazing!!! We had dinner at their restaurant one night and that was great too. There were many places in walking distance. The hotel was just great all around. I would definitely stay there if in the area again.
