Best Western Prineville Inn

It was a great little stay to visit with family.

We were in town over New Years weekend visiting family who live in Prineville. We love this hotel for the indoor pool and wonderful staff. They also put alot of thought into the artwork and Christmas decorations giving it a warm home-like feeling. The only thing that could be improved is to add more rugs/carpet in the rooms to dampen noisy neighbors. There happened to be a rodeo going on the weekend we were there and we had a few loud neighbors that Saturday night!

It was clean, and once the kids went to bed, it was quiet. Easy to get around the area.

First, I was very disappointed we had to stay in an adjacent building, as I don't walk well and have a toddler, quite inconvenient for eating and getting to the pool. The pool, was cold, my toddler didn't enjoy it nor did my husband. But the worst was the long black hairs on my towels and bedding. Ick. That being said, the rest of it was clean and they had a nice breakfast which is a big plus for us. The landscaping and flowers around were really pretty.

Check in was smooth. Room was nice enough, the bathroom had grime and hair in the corners. A few towels had stains. Otherwise the room felt clean and nice. The pool was very nice, and the highlight of the stay for the kiddos.

I have stayed here before and it has always been great but this time I was disappointed that I reserved 2 rooms on for my husband and I and one for my daughter and grand children and booked them at the same time and for some reasons our rooms were not close to one another, and actually were different buildings which kinda defeated the whole point of booking two rooms at the same time. Also the breakfast was disappointing we went over at 8 am and there was no forks, there were no biscuits, the gravy was pretty much empty and you could hear staff back behind the coffee area chatting and laughing ...... no one came out at all while we were in there to check on things or refill anything

The staff is terrible. They couldn’t figure out how to process an Expedia reservation so they called me and said I would have to give them another credit card because the one that they were trying to use, from Expedia, was declining. I sat on the side of the road for two hours trying to be the middleman between the staff and the people at Expedia before we realize that the staff was trying to process it for the wrong amount. I then stated that I had a five-year-old son who wanted To be able to swim after such a long car drive and asked what time the pool closed. I was notified that the pool was open until midnight. Once I arrived I waited over 20 minutes to check in because both of the girls working the front desk were gone helping another customer with his TV. When I called and they said they were on their way they apologized and said “sorry we’re both new and don’t know what we’re doing, so we had to go together”. We quickly ran over to the building, which was separate from the actual hotel, and there was so much construction going on that there were no parking spaces. We had to park way over on the other side of the facilities and walk. Once we got up to our room we got changed into our bathing suits and made the long walk back over to the main facilities. As we walked in to the pool area we hopped into the spa, and we’re immediately Told we had to leave because children cannot be in the pool area after 10. Both girls seemed to have no customer service.

Spent 4 days with my grandchildren over Spring Break 2016. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Best of all, the pool area was fabulous! Water was clean and clear, and the spa relaxing. The children spent at least 4-6 hours in the pool every day. Great fun. Will definitely return.

Very nice staff. The grNdkids liked the indoor pool.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. We were in town for a family funeral and the location was perfect. I was surpised that Best Western did not offer a discount for us being in town for a local funeral. I know some of the other hotels I checked into were offering room discounts.
