Best Western Plus Portland Airport Hotel & Suites

property was in a safe area which was important to my family

We booked this property specifically because it had an airport shuttle and we were having an overnight layover with our 2 small kids and we did not travel with car seats. It was not made clear that the airport shuttle only ran until 11pm and we were then left stranded at the airport when our flight landed later just slightly after 11. There were no ride shares that offered car seats and we spent well over an hour trying to figure out what to do after getting off a 6.5 hour flight with 2 cranky toddlers. It was infuriating to say the least. After so much runarounds and a mini breakdown, the Alaskan baggage attendant was able to gift us two car seats in order to get a taxi over to the hotel; which was an additional cost we weren’t planning on since I deliberately chose a hotel with a free shuttle. However, the night receptionist tried to be as helpful as possible and was kind enough to grant us a later check out. The breakfast and coffee machine were more than adequate though which was much needed.

Although the room’s doesn’t look new but the staff and amenities covers it all. The staff made us feel home away from home. Shoutout to Demetria - front desk and Navia - housekeeping for going the extra mile for our needs. I wish this compliment would bring them something or some attention from the company. It’s hard to find committed and hard working employees this time, I’m glad to have been in this property while they were there. Again, thank you for making us feel welcome as your family and not just guests.

Our family of 4 adults stayed in a spacious suite. We found it very comfortable with beds in separate rooms with their own thermostats. The price and its quality can not be beat! We will definitely stay again at this Best Western Plus.
